Good episode. Nice to see my local “Kirkland” brand didnt totally dissapoint. Ive wanted to pick up a Kirkland brand of some sort (God knows Ive bought tons of other wines from them on the cheap), and this gives me the confidence to know $10-$15 will buy a decent bottle of wine. QOTD: Just finished Sinclar’s “The Jungle”, and now I am reading Karen MacNeil’s “The Wine Bible.” After that Im going to dive into some Faulkner.

The best thing Costco does are those damn tasty corn muffins. I’m addicted to them. If on an island stranded, I’d want booze, cheese, and corn muffins for breakfast…and an xbox 360. That would do it for me.

Thanks for doing this tasting… I always see these wines down at Costco, but I’ve always assumed they sucked. Maybe not…
I agree with Mr. Pierce above: Wine and War is a GREAT book, and a wonderful lesson in history. Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning more about wine and who didn’t pay attention in History class in high school.
