Just stuck in Lodi again. I’m real excited about Lodi and hopefully after the holidays its time to make an appearance out there to see what’s going on. As always good work GV and the spies got nothing.

QOTD: Not on the internet much, only for WLTV!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I have been working with/volunteering for the Sierra Club for months trying to get this ballot initiative beat down. Yesterday (election day) We won!!
Now, to REALLY combat global warming, we can begin to work on a better proposal that includes public transportation transit options, carpool lanes, and easy, convenient ways for people to get out of their cars and to really work on cutting down our greenhouse gas emissions.
How’s that for a “feel good” website?

Extremely generous on your part Gary to feature potential competitors. Prompted me to wonder what the demographic of Vayniac nation looks like. How many women for example are die-hard fans?
QOTD: stealdeals.net and youtube video of Kelly obsessing about shoes. stumbleupon takes you everywhere. Be safe in your travels.

Wow, I never realised just *how* big the big-ass glass is … That’s impressive.

I was drinking alberiño while watching … what a coïncidence.

QoTD: Most interesting thing I’ve seen is definitely Kucinich reading articles of impeachment for Cheney: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJYbgouqlMw .

Oh lord, stuck in Lodi again…

I tried one Albarino, and liked it. It reminded me of a NZ Sauvignon Blanc, with a little appley and grassyness, but a much milder, lemony finish. (But I tasted it at my Dad’s house, on day 2 after opening, so I really don’t believe I have much Albarino experience yet.)

By the way, if you want people to go to TheWineSpies.com instead of winespies.com (domainer page), might want to change the Episode #346 title from “winespies” to “thewinespies”. Just a suggestion. I’ll check out thewinespies.

Thanks for going more ‘open source’ with your recs this week. Introduces an interesting new dynamic, and definitely helps quiet the people who keep whining about bias.

QOTD: Coolest thing I’ve seen on the web in the past 24 hours? There were a couple of fun things:
    Korean rollerblader: http://www.glumbert.com/media/koreanfreestyle

QOTD: Zero Punctuation on the Escapist. Link: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zeropunctuation/

Its a animated video blog about video games. there are about a dozen episodes, each about 4 minutes long.

Also, I was given a bottle of wine from the wine cellar at work (the label was ruined) for my birthday from my boss. I have been decanting it for a couple hours and will enjoy at dinner tonight.
