QOTD: Cult Vines Roussane. Never would have spent that kind of money on a roussane without the wine club. Great wine. Would never have tried Les Fleurs des Pins Graves, either. Spectacular value.

QOTD: I’ve bought several blends/styles/varietal wines after learning about them on WLTV episodes but haven’t got around to cracking them open yet. I must say my impression of riesling was dominated by cheap sweet german stuff. However after trying dry riesling from Germany, Alsace and NZ.

QOTD: A Beaujolais. Paired it with beef bourguignon (yes made with a real Burgandy *wink*) that was fantastic. They both complimented each other very well.

great show, though I disagree with you about the nouveau. not about the quality of the wine, because that is up to the individual palate. but about what it does for the wine world. it may be a shameless marketing scam, but it is something a lot of people look forward to each year. it is all about community for me. I get a lot of joy knowing that around the world people are doing the same thing.

QOTD: You tried the Colome Malbec, which I haven’t had, but I saw their Torrontes and gave that a try. One of the most aromatic wines I have ever had!

I watched your episode where you tried Four Vines Naked Chardonnay.
For the price point and your enthusiasm, I went out and found it.
It is now my “house” Chardonnay – the one you always have 4-6 bottles of in the event someone drops in.

I live in Michigan so, I chose this episode to show to my sister-in-law (who was visiting us) your show. Her 6 year old son was in the room and watching as well. We had just finished watching the segment on ‘Coume Del Mas Schistes’. Next thing you know he took a sip of his Knudsen Organic Lemonaid and said, with the corresponding hand gestures, “this is incredible,WOW, I love it, this is serious!”

We laughed like crazy!
