Hey all, the Panarroz was reviewed by Parker in Business Week. I made sure to indicate that when putting in the text, and I didn’t tell Gary before he taped! Sorry!

I don’t believe there is a Parker review for the 06 Panarroz Jumilla Red. He gave the 04 a 90 and the 05 an 88. Jay Miller does the Spanish reviews now for the Wine Advocate and he didn’t review this wine as far as I can tell. Please let me know where Parker reviewed the wine you drank.

QOTD- It’s RAINING here in AZ, so likely go buy some new wines, go grab some books from the library and have a rain-soaked-wine-uncorked weekend!

So Jets vs. Dolphins… Yikes… Hope the Jets can pull out the win, otherwise that’s just the icing on one lousy seasonal cake.:(

Thanks Gary!!! There are several Spanish wines you have suggested
that were in the $7 range. I tried them and you were right, great
for the price, on point. Hard to believe.

QOTD: I’m going pheasant hunting in Colorado! Woo hoo! Nothing like freezing your ass off for 10 hours, stomping around waist-high brush as the dust and cold wind pound you from all directions. And you never see a bird to shoot, much less take home for dinner…why am I doing this again? At least we have good wine for later that night even if we don’t bring home birds.

QOTD: Last day of classes was today!! Girlfriend is coming up for the weekend, suprising her with dinner and some vino. Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs, G.D. Vajra Barbera Reserva, and a Albana Passito to go with cheese. Thinking of checking out an Austrian restaurant tomorrow and sipping on some Gruner.

    Hey Gary-
Fun and quick episode…..where is the lay back Friday couch?
This weekend my fiancee and I are dog sitting for my Aunt, writing 3 papers for our Hinduism class ( one is on Yoga and one is on Tantrism, so it isn’t all bad), and working 16-18 hours.
It’s FINALLY raining in So Cal, so besides all that…I’m just going to be chillin inside and staying warm…..If I had a Halo I’d be on there.
    Have a fun weekend!
