qotd: This weekend I am hanging with a good friend who is moving away in a few weeks. To say this bums me out is an understatement.

I have to confess one of my first crushes growing up was Mark Gastineau of your NY Jets. Just so you know my fiance does not have a moustache or a mullet :)

GV I’m still waiting for one of these 90 pt under $15/ under $10 episodes where you don’t go Ofer (even though the sauvignon blanc got your attention, it still isn’t a value in my book)

    Anyway, in the mean time:
QOTD: This weekend I will be taking the LSATs, and celebrating my birthday. Hopefully a lot of wine will be involved somewhere in the middle.

Not sure if you mentioned “cat pee” in your review? Synonym-grassy?? A relative is taking the grand sommelier test this week and he said “cat pee” and I just laughed. Is this really a wine-tasting term?

Man Gary, you are pumped! I love the little twist on the intro.

I saw that Panarroz roll by on the new items list, the cheap Jumilla caught my eye. I hope you don’t sell it out before Sasha lets you give us some more free shipping, it still sounds pretty interesting to me. For $7 it’s at least worth a try.

QOTD: Ultimate Frisbee! League tournament this weekend. Gray team is going down.

QOTD: I’m recovering from being sick all week and hopefully feeling well enough to go out to dinner with a good friend of mine to celebrate my new job. It’s a big feat to be graduating college in a few weeks and to already have a job all lined up so I’m excited, I just hope I feel a ton better tomorrow.

    This weekend…
I thought I’d be the good son and take my mom up to Ridge Winery for tasting. Then I will likely decorate my tree. Otherwise, nothing special.

Cheap 90 pointers always seem to draw a lot of controversy!! Is it because sometimes wine critics are pushing the limits of “value wines”?!
Well, this weekend we’re putting on the x-mas tree, taking the kids to a X-mas (at -10C in Montreal) parade, and finishing basement renovations. Oh yeah, I’ll be also trying my first Zweigelt – Cheers

When I turned up the volume just after I pressed “play” to play your video, I didn’t realize I had the Black eyed peas in i-tunes going. For a moment, I thought you were going to come out in giant satin shorts and a cape. I’m really glad you didn’t. Just enjoying current format.

My husband and I enjoyed some Bandol Rose this past summer. We’ll keep our eyes out for some more Bandol. Thanks for that show.

QOTD: Besides shuttling children from one event to another, Japanese spa evening with the girlfriends, dinner with good friends the next evening. We’ll be enjoying a Tuscan red and a Sangiovese from Columbia Valley; with plenty of bubbly as back-up if all else fails!

Your $7 bones Panarroz from Spain…wait for it….$16 here. With the currencies doing what they are, I think I need to go for a drive.

QOTD: Hanging a painting. Hanging out with my baby girl. Tasting some wine. Butchering some elk and moose. You know, the usual.
