I really enjoyed seeing all of those beautiful cellars. Jay does great work. My cheapo (~$4,500) wine room kit cannot hold a candle to these, but I have ~1,000 bottles jammed in there now with my Breezaire cooling unit. The humidity isn't up to snuff, but it will have to do. Do I need more storage? Ah, maybe someday. I would love to have a custom wine room that we could actually sit in and enjoy the wine. Showing $65K cellars just highlights and compounds the "wine for rich" attitude that prevails throughout a majority of the wine industry; from blue chip "investment" wines and vineyards to phenomenally overpriced wine tours and everything in between. How can the average wine lover justify £22/bottle for wine storage? What happened to QPR? Surely that value should apply across the board and not just to individual wines. Come back down to earth, where the real wine lovers live! Great selection of beautiful cellars but disappointingly unrealistic.
