QOTD: I like the idea of best label design for the VaynerCab.

How about a contest of who can make the most posts to cork’d? Or perhaps to qualify for a drawing, you’d got to make at least 10 posts to cork’d?

That would drive traffic to the site and your IT guys should be able to give you a list of names of those with the required number of posts.

Congrats to the winners. I am truly jealous!

QOTD: I like the iPhone giveaway, but, at the risk of being boring or redundant. I think the next contest should be the same. The idea of co-hosting the show is a great experience. Just visiting the store is fun, in itself. The opportunity to hang out with Gary, Sasha, Mott and other WL staff is a trip. To sit next to Gary and try to find Skittles in a bottle is classic.

Gary…thanks for keeping the show so fun, informative, entertaining, and a “can’t miss” part of my day.

I think there is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle under the football. As for the question of the day: I think the contest should be who can get the law passed that Tennessee residents can have wine shipped to them via mail the fastest?

I think the next contest should be for lurkers only! OH WAIT, THAT WOULD DISQUALIFY ME BECAUSE I’M NO LONGER A LURKER! BUT IF I DIDN’T POST HERE I WOULDN’T BE QUALIFIED! Darn, a Catch 22 contest.

    Hi Gary,

Under the football….. An action figure…!!!

The contest……… you have one bottle of wine over a certain period of time and at a certian price range… $30-$40 for example or any bottle over $50…etc. which will have a gold sticker under the lead foil cap which you have made special for the contest and “only you” will know where it is and when it is sold etc….. and you can restrict it to Internet sales only…… or in store purchases or both.

The prize……. a First Class weekend trip to the final party for the Vayniac Cab at Crush Pad in San Francisco and a special wine dinner at Gary Danko with you the night before.

For the next contest, you should go, with the winner, to somewhere like Piedmont, Burgundy, etc. and shoot an episode of WLTV from there tasting wines from that region.

QOTD: See who can make the most publicity about drinking wine, or who can introduce the most new people to wine, something like that. That way we can all change the wine world!

Oh and congrats to the winner of the compo. I would have entered but I’m only 18 so if I flew to the US I wouldn’t have been able to drink the wine! Damn I wish I could have won that though. I’ve never even visted the US
