Liked the concept for this episode and am looking forward to the next few like it. QOTD: I dont drink out too often, as the price is obviously inflated. I usually enjoy a good dessert wine after my meal, and the place where I have enjoyed wine the most is again Cafe Juanita. Just all around flawless and never any complaints of any kind.

I lived in Winston-Salem, NC for six years before I moved back to the northeast. My wife and I used to eat at a restaurant called the Zeveley House. We got to know the owner and chef pretty well. Their basic wine list was OK. However, they had a reserve list that was pretty good and a cellar that had some gems in it.

They used to let me go down into the cellar, pick a bottle that I wanted with our meal and then drink away. I had picked a 1988 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe a couple of years ago along with a 1988 Leonetti Cabernet from WA.

Cool episode, but now I know why I live in Cleveland, OH and NYC!!! (Good) wines by the glass here in NE Ohio are about $10-12 per glass at MOST.

QOTD: Sticking with the Cleveland value, we have a number of restaurants here with GREAT wine lists such as Swingo's on the Lake, Giovanni's, and The Vue. An excellent Italian restaurant that has a nice Italian wine list at tremendous value is Lago in the Tremont section of Cleveland.

Wow, those prices were ambitious!

QOTD - I've not been to a restaurant in the UK where I'd come back for the wine. In South Africa "CasaLinga" was great (in fact most of the restaurants there were cool for wine) and in Amsterdam "Toscanini" had a great selection.

My fave place to drink wine is a wonderful wine bar called D'Vine in Mesa, AZ, which brings all kinds of little-known wines to the table in flights so we can sample and enjoy something other than the standard big hitters. I discovered Four Vines Zins and Jeff Runquists Zins there. Can you tell I like Zinfandels?

Gary, keep up the good work. I love the show and learn from every single episode.

QOTD: Lake Park Bistro. Great bottle selection and they always have a Gigondas by the glass.
