   QOTD – If I could only drink one bottle of wine on New Years Eve (from my own collection) I would have to say that I would open up an older cabernet based Wahington wine and drink it throughout the night.

   Typically I go for a bottle of vintage Veuve Clicquot, but I find that the goodness in the bottle gets lost in the moment of celebration at midnight. However, is it a faux pas to open up a nice bottle of champagne and drink it throughout the evening and then just save enough to go into the glass for a toast at the end of the night? Seems like cheating.
