A “Link it up Mott” T-shirt is a great idea!! I find it interesting that the merlot from aus. tasted like veggies and the ones from the US tasted like fruit bombs lol Great ep for sure GV. I love merlot just not all the time

QOTD: catching up on the ep’s I missed while I wait for my daughter to fall asleep. Just fed her and it’s about 5am so with luck the warm formula will kick in and she’ll be out like a light and I can get back to bed!

not so impressed. maybe it will improve overnight. very dry tannins that are melowing after 4 hours of decanting.

I’m actually just getting into merlot recently and I’m loving it. Gotta say though, if this is what they cost when everyone’s hating on them, I’d hate to see what a decent bottle will cost when it comes back. QOTD: eating some chicken soup cuz i’m hella sick.

Qotd. Drinking a bunch of wine with large extended family dinner. One of which,was one you went crazy over – terlato/chapoutier shiraz/voignier. Very interesting, unusual, surprising, but not as good as hoped.

Tomorrow at the in-law Hanukkah festivities they are having pizza (yikes!) so I’ll take a nice Zin.

I re watched the 288 ep. because some SOB had the nerve to bash you to my face. Lucky it was at work and in an office, or voices would ahve been raised

Not my favorite show, but then again neither is Merlot. It has gotten some bad press in recent years, but we should still drink it. What percentages have your other wines gone up since merlot has gone down so significantly. If I am correct there have always been shifts between which wines are “hot” right now, and maybe this is the off time for Merlot.

QOTD: Last night I was enjoying my family after my final day at the office for almost two weeks. I was geeked to say the least. We have been too busy making changes for the new year to keep the business evolving.
