Funny that you mentioned Cheval, yet appropriate while talking merlot. That ….. movie we all know slammed merlot and cab franc also claimed that one of his favorite wines was the famous and wonderful Chavel Blanc. Which just happens to be merlot and cab franc based. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Or just maybe nobody understood the humor involved.

I watched Fast Willie break his leg, my beloved Steelers win but disappoint, but best of all I celebrated my son’s 3rd birthday with a cornucopia of Cotes Du Rhone 2005 vintages. As much as GV touts the 2005 Bordeaux, do not turn a blind eye to the 2005 southern Rhone wines.

Link it up Mott is the best idea yet for shirt.

Merlot? it is not a question of being sheep; it is a question of QPR. So many vegetal and poorly made Cali merlots are out there and they are not worth the money. Lots of folks drink merlot; he just happens to be blended with Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Franc and other varietals.
Personally, I don’t want my wine to taste like V8. I can buy V8 for much less and don’t have to worry about having it shipped.
