QOTD: Yes, Yes, but I’m not a big fan of Riesling’s that have residual sugar…just not my thing.

QOTD – yes I have had many German Rieslings and found you don’t need to spend much to get a great wine. I am mostly a red drinker, but find these to be a great wine to take a break from reds, and they also go well with food.

I had a dry Riesling that threw me for a loop because I did not pay much attention when I bought it, but once you realize what you’ve got, they are very good.

QOTD: YES!!! I have had German Riesling, and it is one of my favorite varietals, in terms of being able to really show what terroir is all about. No other R in the world tastes like German R from the Mosel. Part 2, yes, I have had more than 2. I have probably tried more than 10 from Germany, just because my wife and I both love the Riesling. Probably our favorite white.

Yes/Yes I am a fan of German Riesling. Mulenhof (spelling) has been my favorite so far. I LOVE when you can find a spritzy spatlese. Great show Gary,

    Happy New Year

P.S. I introduced you to an entire wine shop this week!

QOTD: Yes/Yes but I don’t love them like you do, GV. Once in a while, with the right food is plenty.

QOTD: multiple rieslings yes, unfortunately many extra sugary and uncomplex because my wife family likes residual sugar. They are the yellow tail, beaujlais noveau, sweet riesling sort of wine drnikers

QOTD: 3 years in Deutschland, 1 Deutsch frau, many. many Deutsch wines consumed…many gooood. Spicy food does great. Need to consider spicy Mexican food with Riesling…

My wife especially likes the sweeter German rieslings, so yes and yes, we have them often. I’m going back to the old German episode so I can learn about the “sweetness” ratings.

Yes and Yes. I probably should drink more of them, especially with my love of spicy foods. Prum is my favorite value choice for consistently and QPR. I tend to stick to St. Urbans Hof, Pauly Berweiger and other value brands for more day to day drinking.
