Lohr's Valdiguie. It's maybe 7-8 bucks, an easy drinking, light, very low tannin red with ripe cranberry, boysenberry and cherry. It's a wine you chill like a white wine, so it goes well with the hot weather we've had recently. Their current 09 release is the best of theirs of the past 4-5 years I've tried it, and the 09 has the most vibrant magenta color I've ever seen on a wine. Most of all I like that it's a varietal you never hear about (It's pretty easy to get bored drinking those same traditional varietals sometimes).
