QOTD: I started watching from episode 330. (I had to check the archive for de-ja-vu’s to figure that one out.)

Nice bit on the Pinots. I tried an excellent one in the same price range on Friday: 2005 Gary Farrell Russian River Valley

Gary …fun show today. I started watching about 6 months ago! I’ve been hooked ever since.
Just a comment about the Breggo… the little town in Anderson Valley where the winery is located is called Boonville ( great beer too ) . Back in the day the locals had their own language called Boontling, Breggo means sheep in Boontling … Fun fact for the day !!

Been a dedicated lurker since about Nov. ‘07; just before my 21st. I’ve spent a lot of time in the archives, and consider myself quite the Vayniac!

QOTD: I started some time in April or May, and I’ve retroactively watched a buttload of episodes.

I might add, I wouldn’t miss sniffy sniff. I’m indifferent to it. Bring back the SAS!

Right around 362 or 363. I found a clip on YouTube of Gary tasting MollyDooker wines and then ended up here. Wish I had discovered it sooner.

    life's too short...

QOTD: About a year ago, I was reading Eric Asimov in the NYT and he printed a link to your show. ‘Been hooked ever since you made my daughter fall off her chair laughing at the “Train Your Palate” episode. I thought, that’s the must humble ham I’ve ever seen…

QOTD: I think that it was episode 310 or so. I remember that it was a Friday episode because you were on the couch and the first impression I had was that you were operating the blog from your house!

I started watching on episode #337 shortly after you were on Diggnation and also, shortly after my 21st birthday. Let me tell ya Gary, you have helped me a lot in learning about wine as I am finally legally allowed to purchase and drink the stuff. ;)

Ever since you self promoted yourself to me through some wine group, last year, around there, I don’t remember exactly, lol

QOTD: Started watching as soon as I heard about you on Diggnation!

My QOTD to you: Why is it that every time (so far) right after I view an episode and scroll down, click on the wine that I’d like to try, I am saddened to find out it’s sold out?

  24. January 17, 2008

    Reggie M.

Excellent show. I guess it’s time to officially stop being a lurker.

QOTD: I started watching your show on episode #323. I was watching Diggnation, and Kevin and Alex were drinking wine and were talking about your podcast. I figured I should check this podcast out. Now when I started watching I didn’t know much about wine (and I still don’t know that much) but I’m learning more everyday and having a ton of fun doing it. As it happens, my birthday is on March 29, so I’m hoping I can make it up to Wine Library and celebrate in style.

    Keep the Sniffy-Sniff!

Gary….a great show. Have you ever thought on doing several wines from Anderson Valley? I just toured the valley wineries for two days back in December…there are some great values out there….

QOTD: I started watching around episode 175…my friend from Florida sent me a link to your Thanksgiving episode.
