Last September when I met hardcore Vayniac Kristen at the wine shop where I work. Been watching ever since!

I started watching the thunder show after seeing a video on decanting on google, the thunder show has been a daily must watch since then

you called it….NFC wide right twice….and the giants win…not good

I started watching the Thunder Show when I clicked on a link from CellarTracker; “GV” had rated a 2003 Leoville-Poyferre 97 pts, and I was happy because I own a bottle, but didn’t know who the heck “GV” was… I found my way to WLTV and have been a fan ever since. Keep it comin’.

QOTD: I started about a year ago after WLTV won best wine video blog. I had to see what all the excitement was about – AND GARY’S DELIVERED EVER SINCE!!!

Also, Gary, just wanted to clarify that – at least in California – a wine can have up to 25% of other varietals and still be labeled as a single varietal. So that Pinot could have 25% Petite Sirah!!! Why would anyone want a Pinot that looks like a Cab?

You may have been thinking about the California AVA requirement of 85% of that AVA’s fruit to be labeled with that AVA, i.e. Oakville.

QOTD: From looking at the archives, it looks like I started watching around mid to end of May.

February 19th 2007…I remember coz it was my 37th birthday. Best birthday present ever and I’ve watched every single episode before and after!

QOTD – I started watching in September 2007. Have been loving it ever since, referred a few friends into watching and my tasting notes of wines I try (and post on my bog) have improved massively after I realised (thanks to Gary) that I could describe what I see, smell and taste in my own words!

Loved the Pinot episode – I have hope of finding a decent one at a reasonable price point. The last Pinot I had would have been about 5 months ago, it was a 1997 from somewhere in the US – and had flavours of tobacco, forest floor mushrooms and dark cherries (from a black forest cake) was tasty as and – the only reason I tried it was because its pre-Sideways :\ gotta get over the irrational avoidance of some wines.

I’m a total noob who started watching at episode 376. Sidenote: I bought a bottle of wine for the first time last Friday, its a 2006 Beaujolais Villages by Georges Duboeuf.

I’m a recent viewer just wanted to say, I like how down to earth your approach is Gare. Keep it up bringing wine to the people!

Started watching in December 2007, although I saw Gary on diggnation prior to that. There goes the “lurker” status I guess…

QOTD: it was approx Aug or Sept of last year (07), it was the day after the WLTV article appeared on Slate.com. I read the Slate article, and by the next day I was hooked, watching dozens of episodes every day for the next few weeks.

Near the end of September 2007. I heard from a friend you did a Sea smoke tasting and I recieved an allocation and wanted to see what you thought of them. I have been watching everyday since. Still trying to work through all of the back episodes at the moment.
