Well, Gary if making this show 5 days a week is getting too much for you, I think maybe just do it once a week. I mean you don’t owe us anything, so if once a week is all you can do this, I don’t think anybody who follow your show will have a problem with that. I’m currently interning in a TV station, so I know how much work needed to be put in even for a 20 minute video. Just keep it up as long as you can, I’m having so much fun watching the show and learning so much from you it is just absolutely amazing!!!

QOTD: Definitely the 3 months I spent volunteer at UCLA hospital, helping little kids with various mental disabilities, and hrough different activities to teach them how to behave properly in a social setting. It was just a great experience.

QOTD- Standing in the middle of a thousand Haitians in the middle of the darkest night, out on the far end of the western lower arm of the island of Hispanola, I had one of those moments where you understand a new truth. I realized that everything we have in our society to make us happy is absent there except for family, friendships, and a spiritual understanding. They are the poorest, least healthy, least served by their government, most likely to die people in the western hemisphere, yet that night they were joyously singing, and chanting and dancing, and praising like they were the luckiest people on earth.

Gary – we know you give your all every show. We suck it up and hopefully we give back in some way to grow the V-Nation.

Gary, I have been thinking long and hard on this idea of you leaving. I selfishly am glad you are going to continue but then again is that really fair of me and all the Vayniac’s to have this control over you and your dreams??? Let me tell you a short story.

My daughter had a boyfriend that was happy with what they did every day of their seven years together. We, her family all thought that the life they were living was just fine and dandy and had no problem with it all. Something happened two years ago and they split up. Our whole family thought it was horrible and tried to get them back together. BIG MISTAKE. To this day, he is still in the same old rut he has been in for the past nine years and she has gone out there in the world and has blossomed into an unbelievable young successful woman. And, in only two years. I tell you this story because I would hate to think that me and the Vayniac Nation’s (like my family and I’s) wishes for you would hold you and yours dreams back in any way.

I think you ought to follow your dreams, whether they include us Vayniac’s or not. Don’t let or allow us to hinder or hold back your dreams.

    And with that said…….

QOTD: I dressed up as Santa on Christmas Eve and went from room to room in a local hospital wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. From the 80 year old man that said, ”get the hell out of my room” to the 86 year old lady who said nothing, yet had a glistening sparkle in her eyes as she squeezed my hand, it was worth more to me than all the gifts on Christmas morning.

QOTD: Non family event – a farewell for one of the guys at work – he was heading off interstate, we had friends, his old work colleagues current work colleagues together and the night just went off!

Cheers for continuing the show – even if it is for a little while longer! Much respect! Keep doing it for love of doing it though, if it becomes a drain on your time, mental state, money, family you’ve got to quit – no matter how much we all love you!

(((long sigh of relief))) Gary, thanks for everything brother! and I know that at the end of the day that Wine is just Wine, but i think the Vayniac nation would agree with me that the Thundershow is, and will always be about much more than “just wine”.

BTW Mott … link it up! LETS GO GIANTS LETS GO!!!!!

GV: I friggin’ love you man, you made my day. And jeazy creazy if you need to trim down the production schedule… please do so. Even a Monday only (or which ever) show is better that not having you at all. Most importantly, keep the message alive. I’d be hard pressed to find another show of any sort, that focused so much on family, friends, and individuality.

    -Thank you

QotD: Even though I’m not that religious, an unspoken chat with God at the top of a mountain in Colorado.

Great news, Gary. I am so pleased that you will still be around – I have enjoyed, and learned so much from, this show. But, what is up with not being able to leave comments on the video? I just became one of the fans with enough stones to do so, and then it was taken away. How sad.

QOTD: making records and touring with my band. I have never been in an extremely “famous” band, but I have made a record or two here and there. And, I love playing shows and seeing the world. I am lucky to have been able to do both with music.

QOTD: A solo month-long roadtrip I took out west to the “Four Corners” area (NM, CO, UT, AZ) shortly after I graduated from college. It was life-affirming. What an amazing area!

Great chat there at the beginning, and great to hear that it’s not a clean finish to the show. Take whatever time you need to get your ducks lined up however you need to, and do an episode (or eight) whenever you can! Thanks for all of the time you’ve put into the Thunder Show!

what the hell? did you only have like 2 bottles of that last wine available? sold out already? Well I’m glad to hear you will be doing more WLTV. Now find me another 97 pointer that you have available that I can try.

Gary V, have been tuning in everyday from the DC area. I love your enthusiasm and being very candid about wine. Not only that, but opening it up to this wonderful community of Vayniacs.
GLAD to hear you are staying… otherwise I do not know what I am going to do to wind down my day every night.

Gary, you don’t understand how happy I am…you MADE my day after having a craptastic time at work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing WLTV and educating us Vayniacs! I can’t tell you how great it is to chill out at night and eat dinner while watching the Thunder Show. No matter how badly my day went, I can always count on an episode of WLTV to lighten my mood! And please, I think we’d all agree that if you need to cut back to fewer shows a week, then do so (for little things like sanity and family)!

QOTD: Going to France for study abroad was definitely an adventure and completely changed my path in life. But one of my proudest accomplishments was completing an 8 day winter camping experience in the woods of Maine during junior year of high school (including a 24 hour solo and a group solo). Sometimes I don’t even believe I did it!

QOTD: I went to Australia to visit my two best friends. We all left family for a week and drove from Sydney to Adelaide area, and toured the Mclaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, and the Clare Valley. There is NOTHING better than great wine and amazing friends.

QOTD: Took a trip to Cuba and spoke honestly with some Cuban people about what it means to be American and what it means to be human. It’s amazing how similar we all are.

Glad you’re still in the game, GV. I’ll be tuning in.
