    Sagrantino!!!
Love this wine! A holiday in Umbria is highly recommended. Montefalco is small but cool. Loved Spoleto the best, Assisi more popular but close behind.
    Ciao!

    Hey Gary,

Okay, ya got me! Been lurking for about a month on WLTV. First time post today.

Keep up the good work Gary, Mott, team WLTV and the Vayner-nation!

QOTD: Joining Associated Students (student government) in college. I met my future (and now) wife within 2 weeks of joining. We also met my best friend through A.S. and he eventually hooked us both up with our current post-college jobs. Talk about life’s random connections…

And now we’ve connected with Gary and the Vayner-nation.

I lurk, and usually a few days behind schedule. Definitely do what is best for you and your family, Gary, but my girlfriend and I love the show. Thanks for for sharing your passion and hilarity with us.

Hi Gary, just wanted to say thanks for the show. i just stumbled across it yesterday, and have watched about a dozen episodes, hard to tear myself away. Not sure if that qualifies me as a lurker, but just in case, that was me peeking in through the window. What a great resource, your archive list is amazing. My hope is to keep current while simultaneously going backwards in time with you, and i’m looking forward to the challenge. If you are feeling squeezed by trying to keep up feeding the monster, maybe you could skip wednesdays or something. I can say this because i haven’t gotten completely addicted yet, you’re still just a recreational drug for me, not sure how i will feel in a week or two or however long it takes to me to need fresh injections of wltv.
    to your health!

I lurk. Why-cuz I don’t always watch the day of! usually the next, riding the train, ipod in hand, freaking out fellow passengers with frequent outbursts. Your opening today (well Friday) brought me out, for the second time ever! Watching since episode #6. Spreading the gospel to all my friends (The Vayner-word that is) Thanks for everything hoss. What a day to to roll out the Sagrantino! Got a bottle of Bea Rosso de Vea 03. You tried it?

    Gary,

THANK YOU very much for staying and doing the show.

QOTD… My first trip to Europe alone.

    Thanks again for staying.

    You’re the best bro…!!!!!

    GV,
I respect and appreciate your decision to continue WLTV. Having recently made a dramatic career change I understand how difficult it is to balance life and work. Trusting myself and pusuing true happiness (what I wanted not what I thought I should do)gave me the courage to leave my profession. Now I am pursuing a career in the wine industry and your passion and commitment provides me with significant motivation and hope for a fullfilling career. THANK YOU!
QOTD: One of the best things I have ever done was to follow my heart to South Africa. I had the amazing opportunity to tour several wineries and see some magnificant landscapes that 8 years later are still solid in my memory. This trip also ignighted a passion for wine, that despite keeping dormant for 8 years, now shines brilliantly.

    Thanks again!

Once I had a hangover that was so terrible, I was going to overdose on Aspirin just to end it all. But, after I took the first two I felt better.

Saving the first life when I was a lifeguard was an amazing feeling.

Thanks for continuing the show and sacrificing your time, family life and love for all of us out here.

QOTD: After graduating high school I had two options – to start law studies and, you know, have a serious, well paid job after that or to study japanese (only because that was my dream :) – it’s really difficult to find job in Poland after these kind of studies). Yet, I chose japanese :)

    Gary, I knew you wouldn’t quit… ^_^

Thanks for education on Sagrantino, GV. Luckily, I found the Paolo Bea at my local stop. Had I not had a cop behind me, I was thiiisss close to popping this bad boy open on the way home.

QOTD – Took an entire month off work and drove across the US Thelma and Louise style. My only regret is that I wasn’t into wine then or I woulda hit some wineries along the way.

ps. Glad to see you’re hanging around. Now take some time off w/Lizzy and enjoy life.

pps. Check out episode 228. You made a statement about the Pats picking up Moss and how this season “might” turn out. You’re not only a great teacher of all things wine, you’re friggin’ clairvoyant.

Gary Vaynerchuk = Wine Guy/Bookie. I think that has a nice ring to it….Don’tcha think?

    Great show as usual !!!!!!!

Gary……… Take a little pressure off your life; sometime it’s ok to say “NO!”

If I sat in your seat……. I’d take no email.. None!!!

I’d leave it simply to the comments here. Then you have the discretion to respond or not. You are being a slave to email…. “Stop it; now!!”

QOTD: Starting a business with partners that have turned into honorary family.

Also, super bummed… I went to buy the 2003 Paolo Bea Sagrantino Di Montefalco Pagliaro Secco, but you’re already sold out! Gosh, guess this show is not joke, I better start watching the hour after release!

QOTD: Quit my job months ago, and ask myself what do I think of my life and my past, any plan on it.

Awesome wines, Great! I am googling “Sagrantino Di Montefalco”, shacking, and feeling hungry during the process of watching the show…= =

Whatever you do, we will love as well, because we have loved you already…

    I am realllly hungry…#_#…Dinner…

Hey Gary I’ve been watching WLTV for about a year now and I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to wine. In a few more months I’ll be able to “legally” drink and buy wine. I’m so excited!!!! It’s going to be fun watching some of the episodes all over again.

    You are the “Sniffy-Sniff” KING!!!!

Extremely happy to know that you plan to continue with the Thundershow . ThankYou Gary!

Well, I was about to buy the Paolo right after the show. It was in stock in a couple of stores around my place. However, for some reason I delayed the actual act for a day… and poooof.. out of stock! Everywhere! It is even not to be found in the inventories anymore. Thunder-show does seem to have some effect on wine sales after all ;) .

I’m so happy to hear you’ll be sticking around!

QOTD: went to Africa (western Kenya) for a month last year. Worked in a mission hospital and then a few days of safari. By far, the best thing I’ve done that hasn’t been with family. The girlfriend (at the time) was there, so that probably fudges it a little bit. But still….awesome

Gary! In one episode I felt like Christmas was cancelled and then all my Christmases came at once. I, and many others are eternally grateful that you are still doing the show. There is no one else out there who will say it as it is. Why are people so afraid to say that wa ine smells like bug spray!

I can think of many great celebrations with my gf. Hopefully my Australia day bbq tomorrow will come close.
