I would love to participate, and I will try my best. But honestly Gary, everyone I know has already heard plenty about you and has checked out the show. The only possibility I have left is to start talking up my customers. I visit just about every hospital in the Chicago area south of the city and suburbs. I will put in a good word.

Also Gary, I do a LOT of driving every day, and I would love to help by putting something on my car. Maybe a “Mott…Link it up!” bumper sticker.

    Good show today GV!

hmmm….been trying my best to spread the thunder to all my friends already. I might have to just post up fliers in the neighborhood.

Thanks a million for doing this. I am a long-time vegetarian and have always had to find my own way for wine-food pairings. I really like a good Shiraz/Syrah with spicy vegetarian foods, including Indian and Middle Eastern and Mediterranean foods.

since when did boyscouts roast mushrooms over the campfire?

QOTD: Don’t know yet, if I’ll be participating, but I always spread the thunder. Can’t wait to see the video entries. Should be awesome.

Gary, Excellent show! I’m a diehard Mac user, and I’m dying for one of those Apple TVs. I really have to think hard about how I’m goign to spread the thunder… it’s got to be creative and effective all at the same time.

BTW, did you see the NY Times article today about state laws regarding shipping? I live in Indiana, a black hole for wine shipment. Sigh. I wish I could spread the thunder by getting Indiana to revoke these blue laws.

You’re back, GV! High energy, great selection – even the 5-day-old bottle as an experiment. Fantastic!

qotd: not sure ’bout Monday, but I’m psyched for the 400th. Yea!!!

I hope the Mets enjoy Johan, stupid trade.

Nice article in the Washington Post.

QOTD: I work at a liquor store on monday so I am going to try to tell some of the regular customers that purchase wine on a constant basis to come on here and join the ranks. Notice a lot of customers purchasing the same kind or even same brand (Yellow Tail) wines each week, want them to wake up and smell (sniffy sniff) the wine world.

wow, good show today. i like this trend of tryin’ stuff that’s been sitting around for a few days… keep doing it, maybe you can put the whole ridiculous vaccum pumping thing to bed.

qotd: my tivo is biting the dust so i just might have to spread a little thunder…

Great show, even better than usual. And you’ve really raised the bar with guests and different topics – like wines for veggies!
Gewurz is a great love and I think you nailed it. In addition, some of my favorite gewurz also have roses and lichee.
BTW – There’s that saying everything tastes like chicken; I guess that now includes overexposed wines?

I am a semi vegetarian. The Gewürztraminer sounded good but I personally like the reds. In fact I used some of the Lily you tasted last week to tart up some vegetarian chili. And to thin out some tomato sauce for a lasagna. Very tasty! And it well with both dishes, too. Proseco would be a nice white.
