Divine Vodka from Round Barn Winery in Baroda Michigan. It’s made from Grapes which makes it ultra smooth!!!!

have you ever tried the mischief and mayhem white burgundy? I thought it to be catering to the new world palate very much. way too much oak, loaded with butter. Apart from that, very nice juice…the marketing also suggests this to be a departure from the old world style. I wonder if the red burgundy is really reminiscent of the old world style, or if it caters to new world, california-style palates like their chardonnay.

After trying so many vodkas, I always come back to Absolute. So many people swear by Grey Goose, but I prefer my vodkas to have some flavor. Can’t wait to try the Dill Vodka. My Ukrainian heritage screams for it. We could put it in some Borscht, eh?

QOTD, ok got me on this one, My Fave is Imperia (made by Russian Std), but I usually drink Russian Std, cause it is cheaper, and sometime last year or so, became available in the US!! WOOHOO!! Mom usually brings a few liters a year when she visits from St Pete. Some other really good ones are Veda (blackberry flavor, very good, but I prefer em clean), and Ladoga (another great St Pete Vodka, a bit pricier than Russian Std, but just as good). I also have some in a Fabergé bottle that I cannot recall the name of, but was not too impressed by it. So there ya go, thanks for the show! Jim

Not a big vodka drinker, but my current favorite is Tito’s. Austin rules. Wait, I mean Austin sucks, stay in California and don’t move here.

Congrats on 400, I watch this every night while eating supper and drinking a glass or two of wine.

Congratulations on the big 400 GVNC! That’s a little ironic that you normally don’t drink wine on your show but for the 400th you swig back some vodka?!?! You must have had a party to go to after.

    Favorite Vodka…I’m a goose guy.

I had a friend go to Russia for Winter Break last year, and he brought back several bottles of great vodka. I don’t know the name of it, but one of the best went down easy with the perfect amount of bite. That made for a fun Friday night.

I know this show is old hat now, but I just now watched it and loved it. I just can’t always watch them right away, though I’d like to.

I loved that you tasted the vodka, even though I’ve hardly ever tasted vodka myself. I love that you tasted a wine that I probably will like, if I can find it. I love that you have the contest, even though I probably won’t join it. Still, in my own way, I do spread the thunder. I started a wine tasting group in my neighborhood, and, of course, I tell them all (50 or so people) about Gary Vanerchuck, and winelibrarytv.com. I don’t have a blog and I don’t get into all the internet linking, but, good for you Gary, you go!

Gary … Congratulations from afar on the FIRST 400 episodes- looking forward to 400 more

Mott .. Well done those Giants …!!!

One thing I have to say .. NFL American Football only played in America … and they are “World Champions” – that creases me up every time I hear it :-)

Great shows and a great style – keep up the good work.

QOTD: I’ve always been kind of partial to Chopin vodka.

Thanks for 400, Gary. I came late, but I’ve tried to catch up on them all. I’m late today because my little girl was born on #400 day. My wife actually withheld telling me about going into labor on Sunday night until the end of the 3rd quarter because she’s such a huge Patriots fan.

Hey man, I’ve already told everyone I know about WLTV, as well as periodically posting threads on 2 Internet forums (with links to this place, of course) whose virtual ‘communities’ I’ve been a part of for 5 and 8 years respectively. (I don’t blog.)

BTW, cool new wristband! I must’ve missed its unveiling somehow… odd, since I generally catch EVERY episode.

anyway, QOTD: I don’t drink any other alcoholic beverages except wine. No vodka.

QOTD: Went to a vodka bar this weekend in boston (visiting a week too early! Interesting to be in town to see the pats go down, though). I tried a few, favorite was Han from Korea.

    Congrats on 400!

Congratulations Giants, but did those guys say WORLD Champions? Sorry, but as much as I like the Giants winning, playing a couple of NFL games outside of the U.S. in regular season does not give any global credibility to the NFL or the Superbowl. Same goes for the “World Series” – it’s only a global championship if you let teams from other countries compete. The Giants are National Champions, end of (and well deserved to).

Ducks for cover and waits for the backlash to begin……..
