Late, I know…but I gotta stick up for my Packers! Yes, they do not have a ring, this year. But Favre has one, the team 3, for a total of 12 world championships. Anybody else got that? Nope! Secondly, I would root for the Jets if or when you buy them! It’s a shame I can’t say the same for the Packers. They are the only publicly franchised team in the NFL. Until Preseason…GO PACK!

    Great show!

QOTD Crawfish, followed very closely by Antoine’s Oysters Rockefeller. Just had some crawfish with a nice Chambolle-Musigny on Lundi Gras, it was wonderful!!

I love shellfish but being from the Houston area I guess I’ll have to go with the sentimental favorite of fried Gulf shrimp. However, I’ll never turn down some crab or good oysters or steamed clams or crawfish or or or…

    Brandon T.

When the show casts Petit Verdot as the smashing agent for the primary bum, then our votes will get smushed into a sort of grape jam with heavy tannic monster

The king of crab. I know not as flavorful as dungeness, but there is really something to be said for crackin’ that leg open and pulling out a huge chunk of meat!

    RobH

QOTD- Originally from New Orleans, so it would be crawfish. During the spring time there is nothing like a huge crawfish boil will family and friends outside while pounds and pounds of crawfish are dumped on the table for all to enjoy in a community style eatery. Normally everyone has beer to go with the crawfish. However, my goal for the spring time is to find a great wine to pair with spicy, spicy crawfish. Don’t forget to suck the head.

    Hi Gary, Mott,

I just discovered you at about episode 393, thought OMG this is awesome, and then almost cried when you said 400 would be your last. I’m writing from the land of the rising sun, and have tried to “friend you up” on Facebook too. I’ve got a few nice suppliers of wine here in Tokyo, and this long weekend I will be searching for the Carm Douro perhaps as a celebratory wine for one of my longest weeks Ever at work (it’s thursday here and I’ve racked up at least 60 hours of work already). I still find time after I’m home to down load you onto my ipod and also watch a few back episodes to chill out before going to bed.

Don’t forget to friend me up on Facebook!

    Cheer,
    Kana
