    Never had a Faugares.

This weekend is a glorious wine weekend, but alas will not be able to come to Boston (although I was just there on business a month ago, love the place as far as cities go).

    Malbec tasting tomorrow.
    Virginia wine expo on Sunday.

QOTD: Training for the Napa Marathon. This is the toughest weekend in the training schedule: I’ll be running 20 miles tomorrow. I think it’s pretty likely I’m going to sip some wine afterwards. I certainly will after the marathon itself, on March 2nd. The world’s best champagne, without question, is post-marathon champagne; nothing else compares with it at any price-point.

QotD 1: No I haven’t and yes I am very interested – both wines are priced reasonably enough that I would like to taste while watching this show.

QotD 2: Playing with my almost 6 month old daughter and with my beautiful and awesome wife.

Good episode – laid back is always nice!

GV – Coming to KC? That’s my Qotd!

No, have never heard of Faugeres! Not into sardines at all so will skip these. Enjoying the wine expo and looking for GV and his skimpily clad friends at table 857-859.

QOTD: Getting together with some friends for a wine tasting. For this tasting, some couples were asked to bring one bottle that they love. Others to bring two bottles: one they love, and one they want to try. Can’t wait!

    Gary,

Enjoyed the 2004 Leon Barral Faugeres episode. Only you could throw around assessments like “white asparagus”, “cellar dust”, and “sardine juice” authoritatively and, because of your knowledge and willingness to try different tastes and textures, we can accept your comments. We are going to hunt for this bottle THIS weekend. Looking forward to future episodes.

HUGE caucus tomorrow in Lincoln. It’s about the first time we’ve had a say in presidential politics since, well ever. I popped a bottle of Trentadue OPR to celebrate our awesomeness.

QOTD: This weekend I’m working on a couple of music videos, but we’ll be going out to dinner and popping some good stuff – finding lots of radool BYOB spots on the east side in LA so it’s on!

_QOTD: Never have, but am definitely going to pick up a bottle. The ones I can get by me are even less expensive at the entry level, so why not?

Have a safe trip to Boston!

Great, great show, Gary, very educational and love-sharing as always. QOTD: what’s up this weekend? I’m in Boquete, tasting Bierzo and other beautiful wines, far away from home, with my friend Ron who just watched the thunder show with me, so I’m spreading the t-show. Concepcion is here, her mom, and my daughter Lucia. Consider naming your daughter Lucia some day.. Lucia Vaynerchuk. You’ll love her! Have a GREAT weekend!

QOTD: Going to get together with some friends to discuss the barrel tasting event that will be happening here in Sonoma county. We gotta figure out what wineries to hit other than Armida, Bella, Everett Ridge, Mazzocco and this new one called Matrix. I hope Matrix has red and blue wine.

I haven’t had an Faugeres yet and I love grenache blends…don’t know what I’m waiting for.

Busy weekend…daughter is in her middle school musical (Alice in Wonderland) and my son has a big 5th grade all-county orchestra festival/concert. No time to rest….no time to ski unfortunately.

and dude…a Feb birthday means the ‘Tooches’ got busy a little earlier than thanksgiving…i’m probably the 50th person to call you out on that one….but the hand-slap doin’ the nasty directed at Bernice??? Yowza.
