    Best WLTV quote ever.

QOTD: Packing my bags and jumping on that ship with grandpa! I’m already hooked on the idea of smelling a wine that can come close to the heavenly aromas that pour out of my mom’s sauce pots! That means these babies sure have a lot to live up to, though :)

Sorry GV,,,,no room in the budget for a LV Cab Franc this week,,,,this week I am going to a Andrew Will tasting(Chris is even going to be there)and I have only enough for some of his wine,,,,,I will Remember and have one soon, as I have tried our local ones(Washington) and enjoyed them in the past.

Always a bummer to have to tell a buddy his product is not so good,,,,I have friends who are brew masters and have to tell them this from time to time,,,,,never an easy thing to do.

Loire makes me think of awesome sweet honey oily juice and the vegetables are dirty with soy sauce and green raw beans and red beet roots and i just want to see gary slather cabernet frac grapes all over the excellent bum of a pretty model and they could all laugh and recite poems about the veggies and get close to jouissance with great sexuality?

qotd: I will try a Loire valley cab franc, but possibly not this week. I’m cooking and selecting wines for Valentine’s Day, and we have a champagne party this Saturday, and I’m still recovering from the cold/flu thing. Also, I’m not excited about the farmer’s market aspect, but I’ll try it.
Get off the web for at least Valentine’s Day.

    Hey Gary-
Somehow I knew that this ep. would be one that you’d really get into…just like the PV ep.
Probably the most interesting thing I noticed today (and I don’t know why I didn’t notice it sooner) is that you are honest 100% of the time. For instance….after having Larkin’s Cab. Franc…you picked up your stress football and started saying all the things you liked about the wine, until the oak monster came out. Yet, for some strange reason, I know that you wanted to spit out the wine and just say you didn’t like it. Still…as you clearly put it… Larkin is your friend and I can competely understand the “walking on eggshells” approach to evaluating his wine. In the end, I really hope that he appreciates your honesty….everyone has an opinions, but I think that he would value yours alittle more than mine.

QOTD – No I will not go out and try a Loire Valley Cab Franc this weekend. Unfortunately I have a long weekend in Walla Walla planned and that is going to eat up my wine budget for a few weeks. However, I will make an effort to try a LVCF before the end of Q1.

Top 20! GV, I have a VA CF for you next time I stop in. It’s only 75% CF and a whole host of other cool stuff. It’s like drinking red bell pepper juice. You’d love it.
