Funny, I finally made it to Bordeax in 2005 and it was an excellent sexual trip with buckets of ripe grapes, mainly petit verdot and merlot, lots of Dionysos slathering and reciting of poems with non-rhythmic gestures of funny wildness. Would love to see gary’s bum splattered with cabernet jam by a pretty girl while overwhelming jubilation and chanting?

QTOD: my story makes me cry inside, haha.

i was a senior in college in ‘05-’06 and was reading the effusive descriptions of the 2005 Bordeaux and i told my family, cousins, anyone who would listen to me. BUY BUY BUY! once in a lifetime, etc.

i knew about 3% of the total, and practical wine info i know now so everyone was like, ‘eh’.. i told them to buy cases, let’s do this as an investment, and a wonderful time capsule..

now i’m sitting here with nada, zilp, zero, zilch.
sad. sad but with 2 bottles of the Les Secrets De Cardinale..
