Dude, it is the last day to spread the thunder and I am going at it hardcore. I’m an operations manager at a huge hospital north of Boston that has at least 4000 people come through our doors every day. I’m in my usual shirt and tie, but today sporting the wristband brother. I’m bringing the thunder hardcore today. I was just getting my morning coffee and told the nice old lady at the register to bring the thunder…LOL!!! She said ok, you too. Dude, I was dying…wicked funny.

Everybody is asking me about the wristband…LOL!! I actually had a guy pass me in the hallway and said “bring the thunder buddy” I said “No Doubt, tell your friends” This is awesome. It’s making for a fun day. I think I’ll sport the wristband everyday.

Dude, you are the man. Love the show!! Vayner nation is here to stay.

Keep kickin ass with your big ass glass!!

    Canada,
No ‘05 Bordeaux for me. I don’t even know what the market is like in Canada yet. I’m still building my pallet, and there is a whole world to catch up on.

Nice shout out to Domaine de Chevalier, tried the 1998 a couple of months ago. After 10 years it’s still a baby. I can just imagine what the 2005 is like.

Any way you wanted to know where your non-american viewers are from. Sweden is where I live and I know you got a following here.

wow – so many questions today.
Where am I from? Home is VA, but I’m in (god-forsaken) Pakistan until 2011.
Where am I positioned in ‘05 Bordeaux? Waiting for you to ship my:
1 case Chateau Valrose Cuvee Alienor
6 1.5L Chateau Haut Bergey Rouge
    6 1.5L Chateau Sansonnet
    1 1.5L Chateau Beychevelle
1 1.5L Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Rouge
    2 1.5L Chateau Branon
1 1.5L Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste
1 1.5L Chateau La Fleur De Gay
    1 3L Chateau Beausejour Becot

Don’t know if that means I’m in heavy or light. Looking to add some more & maybe some ‘05 Burg & whites. I’ll hit you on email Gar

    Mott…link it up!

    Not “the thunder mug”
If you change from “big ass glass” you gotta go with “the thunder BUCKET” !!

QOTD 1: I watch from Israel, though I’m an ex-pat with an eye to end up back in the states.

QOTD 2: I’m an overseas student who prefers finding value in kosher wines, so I haven’t really had the time or money to invest in any of the 2005 bordeaux. As the prices seem to be on the getting-out-of-hand side already (and sure to go up), I doubt I will have the opportunity, either. A great vintage may be a great vintage, but if you can’t afford to buy into the greatness, than it’s greatness is still irrelevant.

  24. February 20, 2008

    YoungDave

QOTD: With my frugal ways, and the non-existence of shipping to MA when I lived in Boston when you started preaching about the ’05s, and now with the high shipping costs out to CA and how far behind the curve I’ve let myself fall in terms of buying this vintage, I’ve inly got a bottle or two of low-end Bordeaux. Maybe I can be smart enough to snatch some up at my local French wine specialty shop that has always been good to me with values. Gracias once again, my friend, and NO ONE can say that you didn’t give the heads-up on this vintage time and tine again over the last few hundred episodes.
