Ive been waiting for a Sauternes show.

QOTD: Ive never tried a Sauternes before, so I dont know if I like it or not. I have a bottle of 1995 D’Yquem, but I dont want to open it for a long time. I may have to look into a 1/2 btl of a less expensive sauternes for immediate consumption.

I’ve had a ton of sauternes, and by far the best was 1983 Chateau Rieussec… so freaking delicious… I finally understood what it means to drink a wine at its ‘peak’… and it also made me want to see an episode of WLTV where gary pours big magnums of sweet sauternes all over the pretty body of a lovely girl and she slathers petit verdot grapes on garys buttocks while they scream and recite poems laughing with excellent sexuality?

Surprised there is a show today. Although I look forward to every show it may have been better to save this content for a day when Gary wasn’t clearly showing signs of running out of gas. Plus, he had a built in excuse to skip a day since there weren’t 1000 yesterday! Hopefully this is just for one day because the content has been amazing since 400. I’d definitely be in favor of less shows if it helps keep the spirit of the show at its peak. Gary…take another vacation (even if its only from the show) and recharge.
