Gary we love you and as of today you have way over 1000 comments on the 2nd year birthday episode.

QOTD: I don’t think I love them. I have not really had a boitris wine I have loved. It might hurt that I come from Canada and have the chance to drink great ice wines a lot. But I find them to be a bit weird. I love that you had swimming pool as a tasting note. About 3 months ago i was drinking a late harvest zin and I didn’t get the smell at night while I was drinking it. Yet the next day when I went for my swim as soon as i walked into the pool I realized what that smell was. Thanks for doing this show Gary, as a CKC I get to impress the girls with the knowledge I pick up from this show.

Cheep up Gary!!! I know there are lurkers abound, but even though they are LAZY ASSES the fact that they still watch shows they love you. Great show, I love me some Sauternes. Ive never seen a Fargues anywhere, but hopefully I can find one at some point in me life. QOTD: I adore them….. I guess thats an unfair statement since Ive only had it twice, but the aromas and tastes were like… wow! Sadly a lot of the nice places ive gone to havent carried Sauternes, mostly ports and late-harvest types. Thankfully ive thrown some coin ( well, bills actually ) and cellared some d’yquem, Guiuard, Riessaic, etc. Cant wait to get married and pop em 15 years down the road ( or more ).

Just watched the show, what’s with the mood? You can’t let things get you down like that and not bring the normal GV Thunder that we all come back to see everyday.

Your passion and normal excitement is what really gets me into your shows.

QOTD: I adore desert wine, but I have only been lucky enough to try one Sauternes and it rocked my socks! Unfortunately the prices in NZ push wines like these out of reach of the average vino head.
