In fact, I was looking around the web for info on the '04 vintage because I quite like it, and, as they say, it may be the last affordable vintage out of Bordeaux. Recent gut purchases are all '04 Bordeaux, and include, case of Ch. Angelus, case of Ch. Pontet-Canet, half case of Ch. Pape Clement, half case of Domaine de Chevalier. I intend on doubling my holdings of the Pape Clement and Chevalier, and plan on picking up a case each of the Ch. Sociando Mallet and Ch. Clerc Milon. Good classic vintage -- drinks well with food and as a cocktail. The V man is right folks. Get these if you can. Just came across this episode.
