Love these H2H matchups GV! And love PN anyway. Gotta get my hands on these!

QOTD: It was the 1990 Tignanello. Had it in ‘98 at $120/bottle and still cannot get the amazing experience to be beaten by anything else. However, more recently I’ve been thrilled with the ‘04 Domaine Drouhin Laurene` PN.

    Top 20 again!

What, no Burgundy? No Oregon? GV, these head to heads are like division champs. We want the entire playoffs!

Whitcraft Pinot from Bien Nacido in the SMV ‘05. CRAZY good!

QOTD- I have never got that excited about a wine, but I’m hope it happens for me someday soon! Keep the battles going.

QOTD: can’t recall anything recently that was a revelation, although the last few NZ PNs I’ve had have all been REALLY good. very much looking forward to my Central Otago trip in August…

Wow. I wouldn’t normally spring 40 bones on a wine, but your enthusiasm tells me I must.

Wow great match-up episode Gary! I’m going to have to try some of that Phillips Hill Pinot!

QOTD: The most memorable knockout I had was the 2003 El Nido – the big daddy (thus my gravatar). For this year, I would have to say the biggest knockout for me thus far was the 2003 Gemstone I drank for during New Years Eve dinner.
