QOTD- This weekend taking a case of assorted gems from Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Australia, California, Oregon, and Washington, along with a 3 Liter of 97 Barolo, on a guys golfing weekend at Bandon Dunes. We like to think of it as aiming fluid or as a supplement to the Ibuprofin to keep as going.

QOTD: This weekend is reserved for my latest buy – a bottle of Ronan Cellars 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemaker, Ron Frudden makes a nice bottle of wine and it’s a great value at only $15/bottle. Check it out!

This was a great week – you have got to do a Head-To-Head, Rocky Vs Ivan, week again sometime soon as it was a lot of fun to watch and very educational.

QOTD – invited to a friends for Swiss rockette (sp?) so as it’s cheese, it will be a white wine.

I might think twice before using the dancing pooping two-year old line to describe a bottle to customers. But anyway.
QOTD: tonight, I’m sharing with some friends my first homebrew to win an award in a competition–a blend of 75% Belgian blond ale, 25% (homemade)chenin blanc wine.

I have zero thats right zero arm bands. I was waiting for Gary to retaste the wine he poured back and say “on second thought it tastes like copy paper mixed with hewlett packard toner ink.

QOTD: A Chinon, My wife and I just watched the Loire Valley episode and Gary made us promise to try one this week. I can’t wait to see if I can smell the wet dog walking through a manure field like Gary spotted.

  19. February 29, 2008

    Andy & Edie

QOTD: Going out to The Rex here in Billings with my wife Edie so I’m not sure what we’re having yet. She really like’s Sauvignon Blanc and so do I, but I really like everything and she’s not as much into reds. I haven’t found a kind of wine that I haven’t liked some bottle of. I usually drink about 2 bottles a week with Edie having a taste or two at dinner. I probably like Cabernet’s the best, but my favorite type of wine is probably Chataeuneuf Du Pape (not sure on spelling, but you know the one right :) ) Any Rhone wine I’ve tried has been delicious.
Anyway, great shows this week! That must have been a marathon to do them all in one day.

Loved the head to heads this week! You should make a march madness head to head wine bracket, it could be a big vayniac competition. Anyway, i thought that might be fun :)
