    Great Show!!!

Ive got the two most recent wristbands. I wish I could get a hold of the first one in black. That’s the one I want the most. When I started watching the show I was the ultimate lurker and didnt really care to participate in anything more then watch so I skipped out on the first one. Looking back, Im super pissed about that. (any chance u wanna send the original wristband to me so I can have all three?)

QOTD: Going to a Domaine Maume tasting tomorrow here in Houston. Besides that, Im really thinking about opening a bottle of Darioush Viogner tomorrow evening.

Haven’t decided on the menu, so haven’t decided on the wine (or is it ‘haven’t decided on the wine, so haven’t decided on the menu’?)

QOTD: Not sure yet, maybe the Lopez Heredia ‘96 Rioja Blanco, or maybe the ‘05 Edmunds St. John Rocks and Gravel that one of my shops just got in. I’m always excited to try things from ESJ.

I have no clue what I’ll drink this weekend, maybe a cabernet sauv tonight, open up whatever goes with dinner tomorrow. And Phillips was sold out of the 2005 last night, probably sold out of the 2006 by today!

I’m hurting for a wristband. I ordered and requested one last week, but it wasn’t in the boxes when I picked it up! I’d have been so disappointed, if I hadn’t been so busy unpacking wines, and peeking in the secret pack for March 4th!

This weekend, I’m trying to find a $10 bottle or two to enjoy, out of what has become a collection that’s getting a little out of control. A quaffable california cab right now (Green Groves), and an Italian wine that I can’t think of the name of right now, but that’s been banging around my kitchen for a while.

In honor of the battles this week the Bainbridge Island Friday Night Wine Club is doing a Grenache battle. I am bringing the 2005 McPrice Myers L’Ange Rouge you did recently and we are also doing an OZ 2005 Adelina 2005 Clare Valley and a FR 2004 Dupriur Loire Valley. I’ll post in the forums.

    Great week of battles!

QOTD- I will be trying a Saurus Patagonia Select Pinot Noir. I have recently heard some good things about their 05 Cabernet Sauvignon but haven`t found it yet.

Great show I`ve only recently found it and recently been thinking seriously about wine. You need to start shipping to Canada!!

Nice way to end the battle royale week! And I have the second wristband. Loved the “Stand by Me” reference!!! “Boom-bapa-boom-bapa-boom….”

QOTD: Going to a Languedoc tasting tonight, don’t know what I’ll be drinking there, but I’m pumped!

P.S. Forgot to mention. From an aesthetics point of view, can you move the WLTV/viddler logo from the bottom right to the top left of the screen? You have so much “stuff” over there it gets in the way and moving it will balance out the screen.

Phooey. Those wristbands haunt my dreams. So, I have none of them, since you don’t ship to PA (I don’t blame you).

QOTD: I may not be drinking anything this weekend. Possibly some microbrew at the Church Brew Works with some dishy pizza.

QotD : Easy drinking this weekend…I would say maybe a couple of standard beers…perhaps I open a bottle of Sadie Family Palladius -06…but just maybe…

The Battle Royale was great this week and informative as well. Don’t let that format die by the wayside.

QOTD: I just brought home an ‘04 Kilikanoon Oracle Shiraz which I’ll have on Sunday with some grilled lamb but tonight I’m starting off with a Bigaro Moscato di Asti and finishing with an ‘02 Bell Merlot from CA.

    Cheers!

P.S. I have the first two powerbands. Need to get the latest and greatest.
