This show. I’m ridunkulously addidicted. see? I also dig the forums. Hey Seattle peeps!!!

I’ve also been listening to a lot of wine podcasts. I like the UK wine show, but most of the others are pretty boring.

QOTD: Penny-arcade.com for gaming commentary, wine library TV (of course), Youtube for music videos, and Songza.com for finding any song, anytime.

Also, my dirty little internet secret obsession is isohunt.com + azureus = free movies, music, games, software, etc… Try before you buy! Remember to support the rightful owners if you find the media useful!

    P.S. can anyone day STUMBLE!!!

Besides GV And the Mott? I guess myspace, treehugger, and being obsessive about the national weather service ;)

The wines might have been a bit off but Gary was in very good form with his descriptions, including his beach surf analogy (91+ in my opinion).

    QOTD: WLTV, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr.

It’s too bad the D’aremberg is a fruit bomb, the ‘tar and violets’ combination is something that I gravitate towards – I find it a lot in Nebbiolos…

The bit Gary said about “carrot flowers” reminded me of 4 years ago – I was cooking a lot, and trying to find uses for carrot tops and beet greens… also, I can’t believe that the Neutral Milk Hotel song that spoke of “the king of carrot flowers” is ten years old. If you’ve never heard this song, seek it out.

Internet addictions? Oh man, Achewood (a phenomenal webcomic) and boardgamegeek.com are good time wasters.

Vegital? Tannins for days?!! sign me up for the Mike Weir! I’m gonna have to try this one.

    QOTD: WLTV

    Thanks Gary.

Quite a letdown on that Altesino. I’ve enjoyed past vintages.

QOTD: My internet obsessions are working on my wine blog, watching WLTV and participating in a few wine forums. I also love craigslist.

That and buying stuff…but it’s been an internet obsession since the beginning of e-commerce!

QOTD: First and foremost every day is Wine Library TV! Then the news and political blogs.

QOTD: Well, if we’re answering the question it must be WLTV, but you only take up 20-30 minutes a day so Google fills in for you the rest of the time.

Did you know the rockstar Randy Rhoads family owns the D’argenzio winery in Ca?

QOTD: internet obsession right now is either http://www.zombiefood.com (you have to check it out, great little site) or Hulu.

QOTD: What else, WLTV! Then, after that, wine surfing. But now, after scanning the comments, I’m seeking at Food Podcasts… yum.

    Welcome back GV.

QOTD: Obsessions. . .where to start: WinelibraryTv; Rocketboom; WebbAlert; BoingBoing; Digg; Youtube; N4G; ICanHazCheezburger. Just to mention a few.

    GG, GV.

My current obsession is blogging, and I must say good show but I think your message would be more poignant if you drop the scores. Palates are so versatile, so dynamic it is hard to believe that a wine can be given a solid concrete score. I don’t know, just wanted to give my two sense.

“Running into the cold ocean to fast”… great stuff. Welcome back. Seems like you killed it at your conferences. Congrats.

Gary, keepin it real as always. Canada is a funny market, but it is good to see really tannic and heavy red coming out these days.

QOTD – Food Podcasts, as a cook I can’t stop. You show and 1 or 2 wine shows are enough but food, I could listen to food talk all freakin day.

QOTD: Friends’ websites/blogs(including WLTV), Facebook, Youtube, bbc.co.uk

Great show. Even when the wines don’t stun you we viewers still get a lot of useful information.

Long time lurker, you made a reference in your episode today that was pretty funny to me. I work at a wine bar in michigan called dusty’s. The person who use to own it (now owned by his son) and opened the place was named dusty rhodes, I had thought you made a reference to him, because i had no idea there was a wrestler with the same alias, it was an interesting and comical tie between two different people.
