QotD: E-mail. My wife and I e-mail each other probably 50 times a day or more. So much so that we don’t even really call each other.

Loved watching you struggle with the Mike Wier – and then come up with a great idea. Great show.

you are too tough on the wines… I already told you and will insist that the scale should be moved a little bit higher and wines should be scored higher, otherwise only wines that doesn’t exist will get to a 100 points.

I’m back. And so are you… yay! I’m going to catch up backwards – but looks like I started appropriately — a Canadian wine! I’m looking forward to seeing how it changed over a day of decanting…
QOTD: It’s a game on GSN.com called Dinner Dash; you are a waitress serving tables. It’s surprisingly fun for something that is surprisingly close to real life!

QOTD: Martial arts message boards. All of em….
Huh, are Canadian wines even cheaper in the USA? Guess I’m not really worried about them going up in price, id take a pretty big movement for them to gain the popularity I feel they command.

Last.fm is a great social site for music, and it has a cool mashup with Pandora called PandoraFM, which will log to Last.fm what you listen to on Pandora… Get on Last.fm, garyvee, so we can see what you’re listening to on your computer (if you dare to share ;) ) http://www.last.fm/user/mednews/

Tough show, with some dissapointing wines. My internet obsession is sky sports as it is the only way I can see the live rugby scores.
for your next vs theme, why not do Virginia Cab Franc against a finger lakes cab franc

QOTD: WLTV! I know that sounds cliché… but seriously, I moved into a new apartment about a week ago, and for the first time in recent memory (possibly in my life?) I am without a TV. No cable, no satellite, not even a physical t.v. set to hook a dvd player to! So all after work/after dinner “visual” entertainment has been via podcasts, and I am officially HOOKED on WLTV.

Yo GV, if you’re ever in the Dallas area hit me up on Twitter and we’ll go pop a few corks!

Oh yea, did anyone else notice that the D’arenberg bottle MOVED across the table by ITSELF?!? (~19:12)

QOTD: My background internet obsession that I’ve had for awhile are the deal sites. slickdeals, fatwallet, ect. and even daily deal sites like woot. I’m pretty good at not buying stuff though, but I like to see the opportunities.

2005 D’arenberg 28 Road Mourvedre this is not Gary’s style hence the 89 point. I feel Gary tends to go more to the old world. I don’t feel he doesn’t embraces the new world so much that gets in the way of the direction he goes when scoring these wines. Mate I don’t think you have the happy medium needed to score accurately wines from the old and new world. But hey I still respect what you do we don’t always have to agree thats what makes up individuals

My current internet obsession is, well, probably Google Calendar. I’ve been keeping mine up to date and full, and making sure my friends and family are keeping theirs good too. Great site, lots of nice features like SMS notifications and all that goodness.

If not that then I’d say woot.com.
