Good episode…was hoping one or two of the wines were better by your view but there’s always the next episode to look forward to.QOTD- WLTV other than wine related web-sites…e-mails…spend way too much time with that but can never get enough of WLTV.

QOTD: Wine Library TV of course

Hey Gary, back off the free agent pickups. They are more over rated than a lot the 70 dollar fruit bombs that you pan on a weekly basis. As a Charger fan I can tell you there is only one way to build a team and its the way AJ Smith has been doing it in SD the last few years draft, draft, draft.

P.S. I’m still bent over that Jets playoff win at the Murph a few years back. Nice job by Marty giving the Jets their last proud moment before the current run of mediocrity.

QOTD: I’m digging Facebook Oregon trail! It reminds me of my first computer with DOS and win 3.1. …back when I was in college and actually knew something about my computer.

I love Pandora (http://pandora.com) too, I turned everyone I know onto it in 2005. Back then you had to pay – I think it was 5 bucks a month or something like that. I listen to it all the time! You can hook your Facebook up with the app and listen to pandora while you play Oregon trail!

PS. Diana Ross? LOL! I had you nailed as a Big Bander. Thanks for the show Gary.

Hey even if the wines werent great, the show as always was. Keep it up. Interesting, wine from pro golfer. How about a head to head golfer wine taste off?? Oh, and have you checked out Paul Newman wines yet?? I would be curious to get your take on these.

QOTD: Obsession????? Wine of course and WLTV. Cant get enough of either. Thanks.

    mike weir –
2006 was a tough vintage up here, you should try something from a ripe vintage: 2002, 2005, 2007. it will always be vegetal but the structure may be easier

So what, that the wines were ho-hum. As always, we enjoyed the reviews, and the Mike Weir still sounds interesting. Looking forward to tomorrow. QOTD- While I am probably missing a lot, I don’t spend a lot of time in front of my computer unless I am researching something. Unless…..oh yeah…… WLTV.

QOTD: WLTV is my current craze along with Diggnation of course and no day is complete without a stop over at digg.com

A little surprised at the no Bern’s shout out. Esp. after the giant forum thread.

Glad to have you back Gary.

Great comments on the Mike Weir Cab/Merlot. I totally agree with you Gary regarding the complexity. I found hints of roasted coffee with a hint of vanilla. You’re right on the mark about the tighness. I look forward to seeing your review with the decanted sample you have set aside for tomorrow.

    Love watching WLTV!!!!!!

QOTD – My internet obsession is exploring food and wine and the simplicity in both crafts that result in the best in taste and satisfaction.

I was really puzzled that the bottle of Mouvedre seemed to move by itself at 19:12 into this episode….Looked really spooky at first…had to watch that a couple of times to see that you actually pulled the table cloth accidentally.

WLTV, of course. I started watching in the middle of last year, so I have been doing a lot of catching up as well. And the NY Times online every morning.

great show. can’t wait for the 4 pack!

    Welcome back!

Can’t wait to see what the Mike Weir does tomorrow. Also, love the twitter background. You’ve got to offer it as a download for our desktops!

QOTD: for a site that’s only updated once a day, I spend a lot of time on WLTV. Also, with the season starting in a week and a half, I’m reading a lot of Formula 1 news at F1-live.com. It’s a gross site with a lot of gross ads, but they do news better than anyone.

    Maybe tomorrow?

I was kind of surprised when you mentioned Pandora. I’ve been using it for about 2 years but I don’t know a ton of people who use it. I guess my friends just don’t get it.

QOTD: A new website that just got started. I’m looking forward to seeing it’s progress. http://www.eol.org

QOTD: WLTV and the forums (”What are you Drinking”) and Stumble.com

Good show. Even though not much thunder–still know what your thoughts are before we taste so we can compare.
