Catching up on some past episodes. I like this show and the format with a guest bring from their cellar! And sign me up!! Or when your in California, I’ll pop open the cellar and let you pick what’s on the show, as long as I’m on it with you……:)

OMG! I was able to get my hands on 3 bottles of the Patricia Green Quail Hill 2004 Pinot Noir and it is A. MA. ZING. So good I may not even share it with my fiance. ;) Thank you Gary!

QOTD: I love to share with my friends here in my small community. Sharing some nice bottles with the BBQ pit, crawfish boiler, or other backyard cookout going on is a great way to spend an evening.

QOTD: My wife would kill me but it’s my Dad. I only get home about once a year and whenever I do I always sit down with my dad over some fish, beef, mashed potatoes and salad and enjoy some good wine that we’ve found over the year and have been waiting to share with each other. Enjoying with wine with my wife is also awesome. Also, drinking it with the winemakers and listening to their passion and stories always bumps the wine up at least 10 points. That’s the key: a “90pt wine” can easily become a “100pt wine” when shared with loved ones and enjoyed with smiles.

I love drinking wine with my wife Tina, Rich James (insert your favorite Dave Chappelle line here) and Jilly Bean.
A little R & R (Rick and Rich) always gets the party going!
    Cheers from Alabama!

    Hey guys,

This reminds me of a funny (hilarious!) article I read a few months ago about the most bizarre sports today (that you’ve probably never heard of). I think you’ll like it, check it out here:

Wine always reminds me of sports…diverse, and everyone has their own taste.

Nice show, and a nice group of wines.

QOTD - I’d love to say Sarah, but we don’t have the same taste in wine, so it’ll have to be my mate Paul, as we end up talking the same language with a glass in our hands.

QOTD: My sweetest sweetheart, Justin. Wine is a hobby that we found together, and I love that wine is a shared experience for us. Also, I love drinking and sharing wine with our awesome wine tasting group that meets monthly in our living room.

    Good show!
Love to share a glass of wine with my wife.
Other than that - I like to drink wine with people who share the passion for what they are drinking, rather than the simple drinking of alcohol.

My wife and children. Though my wife’s tastes and mine differ greatly. Have not yet had the chance to share any wine with Kristen from Emperor’s Club VIP and at $1000/hour she should bring the wine. Interesting tasting on today’s episode. Haven’t seen a total on the cost of this tasting but with $75 and $50 wines it should have been quite a bit.

This wine is like if you took an 80s action figure and throw it in the grass in a dog training park and then hit it with a wooden golf club into someones armpit.

Crap. I just watched 5 episodes in a row without commenting. I think that officially makes me a lurker.. Wait.. I just left one now.. Am I a hypocrite now? God Dammnit!

QOTD: Solid question. I would guess it would be my friends or anyone that wants to crack open a good bottle and hang out and drink it. My wife is useless, she thinks Mike’s Hard Lemonade is good wine; so she it out.

a cool guest and some interesting wine (and those faces you two were making!) - what a great show!

    QOTD: hubby, of course.

I have a good friend from my hometown who is a blast to drink wine with. His pal is simaler to mine so it works well. Last time we started with wine and then moved to some beer that he brewed, it made for a fun afternoon.

The faces on those two in the title frame are hilarious. Wondering why does the guest always get hidden behind the bottles?

    Gary…

Man… I’m gonna have to… but… man you’re butchering it when you say “Oregon”. In Gary V. style… your pronunciation of Oregon is OBNOXIOUS!! LOL.

Lol, If you come to Oregon and say it the way you are (you’re saying it Or-e-gone… ) you’re gonna get heckled man.

Gar, switch it up a bit and go w/ “Or-gen” or “Or-gin”. That’s the way it is here in Oregon bro.

Hey, if anyone is coming to Oregon and wants to taste wine in the wine country… look me up.

    Cheers,

    - Trevor

Hey, nice mention of the Willamette Valley! I’ve lived in Oregon all my life and the Oregon wine country is an awesome place to live.

Hey Gary… it was awesome meeting up w/ you in Orlando. You have any plans to head to Oregon anytime soon? I can hook you up w/ Tamarack Cellars in Washington… my wife’s relatives own the place and I’m sure would absolutely love having you up there.

Anyhow, keep up the good work… and man… you’re blowing up in the social media scene in the past 2 or 3 months… gonna be big man!

Fun tastings and a great guest! Fruit wines would make for an interesting night. When we had a “luau theme” wine night we sampled some pineapple wine which was surprisingly good…

QOTD - I enjoy sampling and tasting wines with all the crew at Ivars (seafood restaurant in
    Mukilteo, Washington)!
