A member of the CKC, and I will be the only one of my friends here for spring break next week. So, I’m thinking of spending the weekend spending my easter money on a few bottles. Try out some new wines next week, perhaps?

fabulous show. i enjoyed the video and found myself wishing there was a link to a google(?) map with the location of the vineyard marked on it. i really like seeing the pictures, tasting a wine, and having a real sense of location. to have an overlay for google earth with wine regions etc. . . i have to go look and see if it is already there.
    thanks for the awesomeness.

Wow, GV, you mentioned before that you lost a winemaker friend over your broadcast, when you didn’t like his wine. I can tell from today’s ep. that it really stung. Sorry to hear that. But you’re keeping it rizzeal, so that’s why you’ve got the Vayniac Nation’s love. Today’s wine sounded interesting, because you mentioned the Amarone-like nose. But Amarone is something I’ve been curious about trying anyway, so maybe I’ll just skip over to one of those instead.

Hey, how about some more dessert wines at the end of your video flights? I’d love to hear your thoughts on Banyuls.

Easter brings a family gathering with lots of great food and wine. Should be a great day for all of us to celebrate. Enjoy your time in SF and bring back some great stories for next week’s episodes. Saw your phone video with Kevin and it reminded me of reality tv.
