QOTD–Mariners baseball, Univ. of Wash. Husky football and golf. My daughter loved My Little Pony when she was a kid (she’s now 25). We had ponies, pony houses, pony stables, pony everything–until my wife threw it all away after we moved once. My daughter (20 at the time) was heartbroken. Another of her favorites was Rainbow Brite–how about having Twink and Patty O’Green on the Thunder show sometime?

QOTD: GV! You are talking to a man who has all the passion in the world for his Pittsburgh sports teams. The Stillers…the Pens…even the lowly Pirates. The players on all of those teams at the current state are truly Pittsburghers at heart and it feels good to have teams like we do. But I have to say, that my #1 passion in the world is being the best man I can be for my fiance. Family GV, all about the family!

I like the idea of giving wine human characteristics, that will be interesting to hear, and to try. And bring on the food!

missing the special guest wine-maker shows of day’s/years past. cummon GV i’m sure you got the hook-up’s.
great show today. rockin the ZIN!
show idea -> “lateral” [slight miss-use of the term] tastings within a producer… yes, it’s a little “brand”-ed but, let’s face it… you find a good wine – you’re more apt to return to that producer for other varietals, no???
let’s toss out a place to start [kinda out there]: LUIGI BOSCA (Argentina, Mendoza) — from 15-bone Malbecs to $40 meritage (Gala series)… just a thought ;o)

QOTD: finding the PERFECT Cuban Sandwich!!!
