OK GeeVee … I say it all the time … maybe you don’t even bother reading it anymore, and maybe you’re sick of hearing it … BUT … you and your show have helped my (and Darcey’s) appreciation and knowledge of wine more than any other single source. I am so bummed I couldn’t make it up there for your party, and also kicking myself for not getting the mystery packs. Keep doing what you do! You are loved, respected, admired, and appreciated!

QOTD – I hang out at home, or at my girlfriend’s… pretty boring, but that’s where I am ‘a lot’.

I did hang out at local wine bars and restaurants quite often. Since I have been turned on to WL TV I guess I hang out in front of the computer watching and tasting and learning. I cook a ton more at home and spend all my fun money on vino at retail price rather than restaurant price. Thanx GV!

I hang out in bars where I know the bartender. There are 3 great bars within a block of my house – I guess I’m pretty lucky. Nice choices in wine today, Gary. The thunder was brought.

QOTD: Lately I hang out around the galley of 747’s on my commute to/from Shanghai. You meet some very interesting people on flights!

    Where do I hang out?

Wow, Gary V, didn’t think that this one would be so hard, but the answer is, I don’t. Between work, overtime, etc., the closest answer is home. Either in my office working on my blog, http://www.robswinereview.com, and other online projects or with the dog and/or wife in front of the 54″ flat screen, that’s about it.

    Thanks for the wakeup call.

    Merlot,
    Rob

QOTD: I like to hang out at my buddy’s restaurant, most of my other friends also hang out there also…its are meeting grounds…LOL!! He also has a nice collection of wine behind the bar, that’s what I really like!!!

There’s just nothing quite like getting to taste along with the Thundershow!! I love it. As I said a month ago… this MUST become/stay a regular thing. Even though my pal (relatively inexperienced) doesn’t match exactly with yours, GV, I love hearing all the aromatics and flavors that can be picked up from the wines I’m drinking. Who knew, V8 juice can be made from fermented grape juice ;-) That’s EXACTLY why wine is so cool, and while I’ll never stop trying new wines.

Rockin’ wine choices, and a RIDONCULOUS SHOW!

QOTD: I hang out with my family’s cows down on the farm… no vayniac knows the funky poopy smells better than me!

Fun episode! I agree, the south of france needs much more love. Not only is it less expensive, but the flavors are all over the place.

QOTD: Mostly at home, with friends a day or 2 a week. I’m a simple guy.

QOTD: Recently it’s been home since we are in saving mode. If not you can find us at our local pub in maplewood “Saint James Gate”. Or you could find us with our friends down in Hoboken and JC.

Loved the show, and really feel like I missed out on a good thing by not buying either of the taste-a-long packs! Just wanted to let you know you have inspired me to hold my own wine tasting. We are trying Cab Francs from around the world. So far I have Long Island, Bourgeuil, Chinon, California, and still looking for some others!

QOTD: I love to hang out at the local dive bar, because they have all the Brooklyn beers on tap. Also at my girlfriend’s house with her and her family, and of course my house with my family.
