There are way to many factors in play regarding the question why are you so lucky, so to name just one. You have had a passion from a young age and you have worked to nurture your passion over the years, and not let others kill it. You rock.

QOTD: I’d say luck has just about nothing to do with it. Hard work, passion, and savvy are more like it. The lucky are just those brave enough to realize they’re in the right place at the right time, and smart enough to do something about it.

To be honest, though, not having to worry about paycheck to paycheck living probably has a LOT to do with it.

QOTD: Gratitude has a lot to do with it…putting out those wonderful, gracious thoughts only brings them back to you! Oh yea hard work and a passion for wine and passing on that knowledge completes the picture!!!

i suppose that when it happens that you are really passionate about what you have to work hard for (and we all have to work hard for success), it could be called luck. imagine approaching a challenge without passion or having passion without needing to put any effort out there… neither is as satisfying as the combination, and your satisfaction/luck comes through and draws people in.
