These Bordeaux wines are way overpriced are simply cant compare with Napa Valley wines.

No Joke…want to see what a Chateau Latour or Chateau Marguax taste like for around $30?

Take 1/2 each of the Robert Mondavi Napa Cab & Robert Mondavi Oakville cab and mix it together. These two wines creat an unreal blend where the synergies of these rare vineyards truly create a 1+1=3.

Way to boost the kosher Israeli wine (I’m presuming the Domaine du Castel Grand Vin?) !

My number one opportunity is to see my daughter flourish in the final stages of her senior year in high school and pick the college that she wants to attend.

Wow….good show. Interesting to see the 2006 Mitolo GAM linked up as a wine below…

QOTD: I’d say the biggest opportunity I’ve had is working in the industry and picking up some really great wines at an amazing discount(-30%).

I was lucky enough to find the 04 Leoville Barton for $45 at Costco(they still have it,people in Bakersfield would rather drink wine from Paso Robles)and it has just blown me away on two occasions with a couple hours of decanting. Not a real concentrated wine but so well balanced and well made. It’s not over-extracted like so many wines these days,it doesn’t use Vanilla as the main flavor and bouquet component, its just delicious and of a higher breeding. It even showed up my previous favorite, Pontac Lynch on NCAA finals night.

    Wine Not?

So bummed to have missed your big party but I was in Spain….drinking wine of course! What a hotbed that country is! Just ordering the house wine gets you something really good….usually for under 10 Euro! Anyway, please consider having another WLTV party because I will make the trek to be there…would love to drink wine with you and the Wine Library crew!

Loved the show!! I had just uncorked a 2000 bordeaux and was drinking it while I watched. You are right about the palatte developing and I now find myself liking the more structured and balanced wines instead of the fruit bombs!!
