Geeeze, Gary, I honestly can’t tell you the last time I had a Chenin Blanc. It’s been THAT long. With tonight’s episode you definately have me intrigued about the Cederburg, all because of the grapefruit squeezing you did over it. Also, saying it was grassy, etc. For whites, I have been drinking a lot of sauv blanc. You may have pulled me over to the dark side. We’ll see.

Hey. I am new here. Love the show, however I do not know much about wines however. Posting to tell you congratulations on the book deal. Great show, I learn so much more every day. I want to watch more, so the threat worked!! Keep up the fantastic work.

Gary I know you are all up in that web 2.0 crowd, so maybe it’s possible, but somehow I doubt your threat!

Anyway, here I am commenting regardless.

QOTD: Never had one, really! I will try to resolve this soon.

QOTD: Well, well, well! I run to the computer after dinner to watch Gary V as I do every night and what is he tasting . . . Chenin Blanc. I just enjoyed a 2005 Dry Creek with some “Get Yo’ Man Chicken”. A nice spicy dish with an excellent pairing.

Interesting and educational show, Gary. I’m embarrassed to say I had not heard of Chenin Blanc. I will definitely give this one a try. As always, thank you for the vino education! I need to break out of my red wine habit and get into the whites.

Ok… just in case, here’s my comment :)
QOTD: I don’t remember which one was the last… I remember the one from Bonny Doon… not so great. I drunk one white wine from Touraine, but I’m not sure if it was chenin blanc.

Chenin rocks. A personal love of mine. Too bad most folks do not care out there.

I love my CB though I also enjoy greatly Savennieres and Tourraine wines. Need to taste more So Africans…

    Cheers to Chenin Blanc.

I will be keeping Chenin Blanc in my mind for the future…and I don’t like this whole comment every day or else WLTV will be unreachable deal. i think its unfair, though i would like yo believe your capabilities are slim when it comes to that sort of sophisticated technology. Oh yeah, I pre-ordered my book today! woot!

Back in 1995 and 1996, Chateau Ste Michelle (Washington) made a great Chenin Blanc. It was my favorite white at the time but they stopped making it. :( I can’t remember the last Chenin Blanc I had. But I love NZ Sauvignon Blanc so I can’t wait to try the Cederberg.

good champagne tasting – however, champagne is generally better with sex and adding that component to the thunder show would likely energize and expand your viewing legions.
