QOTD: I haven’t had to pull that out since I was 16…but I think the best advice would be to be yourself. That was my move 10 years ago, and it worked, for the record…;)

Must say, Gary, that I really like the ‘agree to disagree’ conversation happening in this episode. I’d love to see more guests (of varying wine enthusiasm) appearing in your show, it really adds a new social dimension of wine drinking. As a [bi]weekly or something occurrence, it’d be a great way mix it up and break up the routine.

I’m glad you enjoyed a central coast wine. I haven’t tried this one yet. Going to try it soon. Good show gary:) Wish u could make it up here to the Paso Robles Wine Festival in a few weeks.

I really liked having someone else comment on the wine. As you often say, people’s palates are different, so it’s nice to see someone disagree with you on a wine. Maybe you could get other wine library folks (or loyal customers?) to join you occasionally as long as it’s not too intrusive.

Side note: take it easy on Mott! He gets some slap now and then, which is a little unfair considering how much work he puts into the show along with you. Give him some credit!

QOTD: My date move was always the cliche coffee- but it works well, especially middle of the day on Saturday because it’s a relatively short date (if things go bad), but can be expanded if things go well. I met my wife for coffee a little over three years ago- that turned into a five hour date that included a 1 hour walk and dinner!

Fun show! Great guest with great personality!

Nice respect paid to the Micro-brew industry Gary. This country is exploding with good beer. I’m a big believer that nothing pairs better with most cheeses than some great Pilsners.

QOTD: I am about to get married in about a month so my first dates are long gone :) BUT I gotta say laughter is everything on a date for me!!!

QOTD: There needs to be an adventure.
A 2000 Treanna meritage just like this one was the first white whine I went nuts for.

Fun show. Almost married for 30 years but still interested in “date” wines. Will pick up one of these for birthday tomorrow. cheers.
QOTD: Most guys don’t like it when the girl is funnier than they are so if you find one that laughs at your jokes and is not intimidated by it, he’s a keeper.

    Great Show!

QOTD: Fumble with my coffee (or beer depending) while awkwardly bringing up stories about ex-girlfriends. Girls are totally into that.

    Seriously.

Ok, no, that is a bad idea…but, somehow I have managed to snag awsome girls anyway (KELLY!!!)

    ;)

QOTD: Seeing as I have not had many first dates just getting through the first date with out doing something stupid was my first date move. ;-) Thankfully I made it through with my beautiful wife Amy.

You’re NOT a fan of Dan Marino????? omg…. the wins, the records, the numbers, even though EVERY SINGLE DEFENSE EVER that he played against KNEW he was going to pass… imagine if he’d had a running game… (no one can recall ONE running back from the Marino era… except us Dolfans)

Im never watching the show again.

    (NOT)

The Rose’s are on the rise here in California as well. In fact I just rated one from Frogs Leap on Cork’d the other day. I have a couple others I picked up in Paso Robles about two weeks ago and I’ll have those rate in the next month or so as the weather has gotten great out here!!

The Treana is good stuff and they make several other wines that I like, now that they changed their pricing structure. Speaking of that how about a show on Rousanne, I have tasted some in the last year or so from California that were very good and am planning on picking up a few from France in the next month or so.

Man, dating!! Glad I don’t have to that dance……:)

    I’m out!

QOTD: If its dinner date I like forgetting my wallet or maybe a good fart just to break the ice! Any other time I just have to wear my super tight leather pants so they see my junk…then I’m in like flynn.

Great show! Thanks for all you do Gary and Mott.

QQTD: If its warm out…I like doing something outside such as walking through the park. I also like going to the museum so there is something different to discuss before or after a nice dinner.
