QOTD: Are you any good at hockey? If so the Rangers need help, otherwise just keep doing what you’re doing!

You’re awesome GV! After you tasted that last wine, I felt like I was at a Baptist Revival Meeting or something. “Speak it Brother!” Cause this is as close as I get to organized religion! Can’t wait to watch you on Conan again…unfortunately I won’t be near NYC- wish I could be there for the party and signing. I still say you should go to Colbert! :)

QOTD1: Yes, I actually just had a Quincy. It was great! It had a gorgeous nose.
QOTD2: Dude, WLTV decided my career path! Thank *you*! Although it would be cool to see an Eastern European/Central Asia wine show (Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, etc). I’d love to see if they brought the Thunder!

Good show, though I’m not a fan of Syrah.
QOTD: Keep the great shows coming.

Have more cheese on the show!!! Like the Polder Gold 1yr Old Goat Cheese you sell at wine library. I was at winelibrary yesterday and tried all the cheese samples you had there but I fell in love with the Polder it was awesome any cheese needs to try it. Paired with a nice buttery white wine it would be heaven.

Nice episode! I had almost forgotten this region, thanks for reminding me. I have enjoyed many of these in the dim remote past.
QOTD: Besides letting me give you french pronunciation lessons ;) , what you can do for me is to keep exposing new wine regions. Syrah rocks!!

Gary- No, no, no and no. Still LOVING all of the fun in retail [wink :) wink :) ] and can’t get out of Charlotte for a few more weeks……………But I still have a way to get there as soon as I change jobs. No, I won’t have to walk. It involves some jet engines and a good tailwind……………and hopefully not too much turbulence. Would LOVE to come to the book signing and the party and to Bounce and would love to see you LIVE with Conan but…………….have to earn a living. CONGRATULATIONS on being on Conan again and on the book signing!! WISH I COULD be there……………… :( Will get to NJ to see you soon………………………….. :)

QOTD: More! More what? More of everything! That should either get Gary pumped or make his head explode.

    NO BOOK for me

Congratulations on the book. I did not buy one and won’t buy one because I refuse to buy any printed material. This 2008, we must embrace new media and alternative publication methods. You’re a technology driven guy. Why couldn’t you have published your book in PDF or audio format? Do you know how much energy and natural resources it takes to print, pack, ship, store, sell, and reship books? Why not have it in PDF and we all can read it on our computer, PDA, or PDF enabled phones. Even better yet, have it on audio format so we can ‘read’ it at the gym, while driving… well you get the idea. With your clout I’m sure you can get some really famous people to read the book. Personally I think President G.W. Bush would be a hoot since he has such an interesting take on the English language. But I’m sure the person that would propel your book to #1 status is PARIS HILTON! After all she claims to read as much as an entire book a day. This would certainly silence her critics and put you in the history book for proving that Miss Hilton can indeed read.

So Gary, will there ever be an audio or PDF version of your book? Or would you prefer to continue to decimate our forests and burn thousands of gallons of fuels to get the paper version to us?

QoTd Wine Library brings us joy and knowledge. How much better can that be?

I’ll be there at Borders hopefully. Rip it on Conan!

    QOTD: Scotch episode!
QOTD2: Get your own show on Food Network! (Seriously, that channel is going down the drain with all their crappy content. Save them!)

What can WL do for me? More Petite Sirahs (inc. Aussie Durif), start carrying the Israeli non-kosher wines! You talked about having that episode last August, and we’ve been waiting almost 9 months for it.

Keep up the good work, GV!

Clothesline Tom Brady, you da man, love it!

Good show though I believe I’ve never had a Cornas.

QOTD: I’m in 7th Heaven what WLTV does for me EXCEPT make a trip to the DC area. Other than that, I’m snug as a bug in a rug. Keep it up.

And unfortunately, no NY meetings so I won’t be attending the book signing. Kudos to you.

My beloved Cornas! Wonderful ep, GV.

QOTD: You work hard to bring us value. It would be rude to ask for more!

WLTV helps us know more about the varieties of wine to search for. Our local areas are so small, you widen our horizons. Thanks, btw.

    Kirk (AKA: slave2thevine)

What a great show….glad to see you bustin’ out some Cornas. I’ve only had two before…maybe three. Let’s see….side question. I’ve hven’t had the Fixen(sp?) but I had a Quince(sp?) that was imported by Kermit Lynch about 4 months ago…and it was good…very good.

QOTD: What can you do for me? Hmmm…I think I’ll save this one for a bit and use it when I need it…..

  23. April 29, 2008

    Mark in T.o.

Major delurking in progress! Thanks for all the great shows Gary – kudos on your book. Don’t suppose there will be a Canadian book signing? Anyway, love the
show! Great to look forward to coming home each day and watching with a nice glass in hand. I echo a previous comment that suggested that it would be great to know in advance what the theme of the show is, where possible. And, from someone held hostage to the LCBO… it is always great to see featured wines that we can get here in Ontario. Cheers!

QOTD: I would really like to see a tempranillo episode, maybe compare some of the cali wines with some from spain?

I would also like to see priorat discussed.
