Im down with you on the Smarties. I totally ground those suckers up when I was a young'n. Down with Piper, too. Still is and always will be my favorite wrestler ever. Its not even close. His attitude alone did it for me. I mean who can forget him spraying Morton Downey, Jr at WM6? Even long after his main wrestling carear was over he still brought the thunder every time he made an apperance. Love the guy and best wishes to him in getting over his health issues. Throwing out a 55? Yikes. Dont throw out too many of those.... I think I remember one time you going off on a hillarious rant about a wine being beyond awful and throwing out a 48 or 49. Still, I feel sorry for the wineries because is what they do, But if the wine is crap, its crap. Call it like you see it. QOTD: Im throwing down with some Lucky Charms. Its the marshmellows. Cant help it. And the cheap knockoff brand doesnt do it justice.

Gary-big fan of your show but I have to disagree with you on the Pago Florentino. Oaky yes, but I think I think it brings a minerality that you don't often get with a lot of tempranillo. And a score of 55? I've tasted the 2004 and 2005 (noticeably more fruit than the 2004) Pago with several people and have yet to encounter one person who didn't really enjoy the wine. If you ever do another tempranillo show again check out Six Sigma Ranch from Lake County, CA.

Hi Gary. I finally decided to step out of the shadows of lurkerdom.
I'm still under 21, so I can't get my hands on much vino. However, with your guidance I've been working on expanding my palette by eating tobacco and dirt and all of that good stuff :)

Tempranillo is my parents favorite varietal, so I'll definitely clue them in on the thunderous value of La Linda. Thanks for the tip!

QOTD: Kashi Autumn Wheat. Best shredded wheat cereal on the face of this earth.
