Nice product for parties and restaurants! Definitely.
BTW, Facebook says GV already has too many friends.
Gary, did you bring Twitter down with your love again?

    Wow — too cool.

    QOTD::: 17,000?

  3. May 1, 2008

    Kev and Ams

QOTD: Probably about a million. I was there for a week and a half and I drank about a keg’s worth myself.

    Shadowbird

QOTD: Rough estimate, somewhere between 0 and a whole freakin’ lot.

  5. May 1, 2008

    John Farrin

QOTD: Probably more than 5,000,000. It is interesting that restaurants haven’t gotten on board with this for their whole wine by the glass menus.

Wow. It would be nice if there was …hmm.. say a Cote du Rhone (E. Guigal) in the keg (Something not too nice and not to cheap.. in the middle..).. I would drinkey drinkey it. Great for a party.. Yes – I agree the outro was too long..

Regarding the question.. I wouldn’t guess Italy would have many wine kegs, but by the guests obvious thinking ahead for the QOTD – I’d say probably 5,000? Donno..

    aka Mike in Nebraska.

Gary- This is such a SUPER idea on so many levels. Lighter, easier to store, better for the environment and less expensive. This is good for many people. Great new way to get better wine to everyone!!! :)

KEGGER! Brilliant idea; as kinks are worked out, I’d be happy to volunteer for the beta testing!

    QOTD: 250,000.

oh forgot to add. Loved to intro, but the outro was rather teadious, u should have the outro back to what it was.

  14. May 1, 2008

    Alex Hopgood

i guess about 800,000 per year

    QOTD: 300,000

I will probably have no use for the keg of wine, as, 1} while I drink like a fish, I can’t possibly consume that much, and, 2] I don’t have any friends to help me drink it. Having said that……….cool concept. Wish I had such a thing when I was in college, then I wouldn’t have to go to the liquor store but once a week. Gary………(I say Gary)……………Is it always that L O U D in front of your store. Geeze… QOTD……..A whole lot!

Great show, what an awesome idea!

But what was up with the long, boring outro?

Why would restaurants use anything else for their wines by the glass? The product is cheaper b/c the packaging gets reused, and the wines stay fresh for months. I see a revolution happening if you could get a big ‘respectable’ value driven wine producer (cartlidge and browne for example) and pump out some highly respectable juice for around $4 a glass!

QOTD: It’s either 0 or about 5 million

  20. May 1, 2008

    Val

QOTD: 0. No doubt about it!

Nice concept, but I think drinking same wine for 60 days is torture.

wow… really a great idea… I can see wine bars with 10 or 15 of those behind the counter and good wine being served like that… and by the way, Gary you must admit that wine is probably better than the house wine at 80% of chain restaurants today… I mean have you tried the House Chianti anywhere in the US? awful stuff…

QOTD: I lived in Italy and frankly, never saw one, ever. Not one. So I’m gonna guess about 500…

  22. May 1, 2008

    brorjace

    QOTD: Half a million

Cool concept, if I ever open a bar, that would be something that would make sense to me.

Gary-These mini kegs are SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool!!!
An outside ep to boot??? Double the cool!!!!! :)
