Vernaccia is another classic white wine that is overlooked by so many as they focus on the 1 or 2 white wines they drink from Italy. I hate to pick on Pinot Grigio but I want people to expand their palates.

    Are any shows going to be done in SF during the book tour? Francis Ford Coppola might be an interesting guest as he is all about food and family in wines. He does a great dinner in North Beach that he puts on for charity.

    Happy birthday to your mom. You should pair a wine with one of her sandwiches made with such love.

    Great shows this week, and I am hinting to friends that they should watch too.

    QOTD: If you were stuck on an island and you were able to choose one wine to drink for the rest of your life, what wine would you choose?

    Also, I would love to see you come out to SAN DIEGO, CA very nice summer weather here. You could possibly record a show on the beach, but you would definately have a lot of fun…
