    Gary,
What a nice show offering the co-pilot’s seat to a Vayniac. Nice. I felt I was invited to a private wine tasting and enjoyed the comraderie. Thanks for the shout out to Bern’s in Tampa. Looking forward to your re-visit. Sold a ‘99 Sartori Corte Bra Amarone for $60.00, and a 1970 Haut Liberal.
Do you remember Fizzies? You might be too young. But the grape fizzies and root beer were my favs.

    i like sam adams, too
recently had a long neck bottle of the belgian chimay red
herbs & spices in the beer. delicious.
also had a belgian style beer from quebec which was expensive (yen1,100) but worth it.
recently i’m all over the belgians. could be a result of living in japan with their clean, crisp, flavor-challenged beers
    thanks for the shows

I had so much fun watching this! What a nice man.
I’m not much of a beer drinker. For me it’s all about wine. However, if you’re going to press me, I have tried some microbrews that I like, but a staple may be a St. Paulie Girl or Red Truck; and, if we’re going with Mexican food, a Pacifico w/lime.

    Derek

QOTD: Sam Adams Irish Red, Red Hook – Long Hammer IPA, Red Hook – Summer Blonde

  19. May 7, 2008

    no longer a lurker

Stella Artois, Samuel Adams Black Lager and Samuel Adams Cream Stout.
I hope this QOTD will encourage you to another beer show as you said you wanted to, or a WLTV first (I believe) whiskey show.
    Thanks, keep changing the world.

    Andy & Edie

Without a doubt, one of the best episodes in a long time. What a great guest, you two could do the show together! I would have to say my beer of choice would be Guiness or Blue Moon Pale Ale with some orange in it.(Andy)

Edie also likes Blue Moon or Cider beer.

    Jayhitek

Why is Gary doing the fat guy trick of keeping his button down shirt untucked?

QOTD: I just had a Hoegaarden the other night and it’s amazing. But for rest of your life.. Something good and light – Stella Artois?
Something a little more bold – Sam Adams Light?
    Tough question. Negro Modelo?

I love shows with guests. Awesome!

QOTD: I don’t drink beer. If I’m going to have and alcoholic beverage, the alcohol content has to be in the double digits. :-)
