That was a pretty good one. Gotta say, I’m pretty jealous.

QotD: I’d have to go with a Stiegl. You know how the beer drinkers in Germany/Austria are…you have to drink the local stuff. I got hooked on Stiegl in Salzburg and have been loyal ever since. I mean, it was founded in 1492! It’s as old as our country.

    Good question, by the way.

Fun show today, like the guests.

QOTD: My favorite beer style is true English Pale Ales, not the American versions. I love the Fuggles and East Kent Golding hops used in these ales.

I like the backbone this guest brought to the table!!! However, I think a little more enthusiasm and excitement was in order for a surprise on the Thundershow ;) I’d go nuts if I was surprised by GV!

QOTD: What a fantastic question… this is a RIDICULOUS question, seriously!!! If I couldn’t drink a glass of wine, I’d drink… damn… uh… a Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald in winter, and a GL Holy Moses in summer.

QotD: If I had to have a beer, I’d likely go with Sapporo beer, from Japan. If not that, then Guinness.

QOTD: If my only choice was beer, I wouldn’t drink anything at all. Can’t stand the stuff — yuck! Give me a cold cider, though, and I’d be happy.

    Nice Show loved it
QOTD: Normally i would have a pint of London Pride (english ale), but if it was a warm day i would have a pint of Carling (english lager). not a chance in hell of drinking american beer. haha no offence but it tastes of water.

I think if I had a choice of beer or nothing I’d choose the later! At least if it was instead of wine!

Gary- I’d love to hear what you’d think Of Hungarian “Bull’s Blood”, you should do that one some time.
It’s quite simple but I just can’t imagine putting it down, it’s such a “friendly” wine! (funny, considering the name!) Sort of tastes like fruity jellies! (I mean the sweets… I mean, candy… not what you call jam… damn differences between American English and English English!! Those sugary chewy things..!)

    Another great show!
    Cheers from Ireland
