qotd: Bells Brewery Oberon Ale. Its a local brewery located in Kalamazoo MI. They produce several types but this is by far my favorite. It is their summer Ale and is only produced during the summer. Very good.

Nice ep! It’s nice having an amateur and “pro” opinion side-by-side.

QOTD – Not a big beer drinker, but I usually stick with a microbrew (whatever sounds interesting) or a bud light/coors light/miller light

    Great Show!!!

Definitely one of your better guest shows in my opinion. Very real and down to earth.

QOTD: It all depends on what I’m in the mood for. For a big boy beer I’d go with Chimay Blue. For a higher alcohol beer (in a smaller package then the chimay blue) I’d go with La Fin du Monde. For an every day light drinker I’d go with Hoegaarden w/ a floated lemon wedge.

Why stick to one beer? If we couldn’t have wine, Gary would be out there telling us we should be trying other types of beer. =) At our house we try to switch it up often, depending on the food and our mood. Beer is a frequent choice because we like Mexican food, and the debate is lively between the guys who like Coors Light and me who prefers Lagers, Stouts, Ales, (anything really, but light beer).

It’s great when you have guests, this should be a once a week thing. Nicely done. QOTD: I’d have to go with the New Castle Brown… I also love the Sam Adams Winterfest.

Nice show. Love getting the varied opinions as well as seeing how others react to your palate. It really helps in zero’ing in on where exactly you’re coming from.

    QOTD: Fat Tire.

QOTD: I would drink an IPA or in the summer time a wit – whatever is local.
