Happy Secret Pack Day! and Happy B-day to the Mrs. I didn’t get in on the secret packs, thought I would be working. QOTD- I’d have to say Australia, I’ve always wanted to go there even before I became a wine drinker.

I think the question should be; WHO would you take with you to a favorite wine region?? Wine is only as good as the family and friends you surround yourself with and the intimacy that goes with it!!
A huge shout out to the central coast crew for making the last year a very special time.

Totally agree with you Gary. 99% of women are totally fine with just a push up bra. Good Call.

QOTD: I’ll say that I’d save a little money on the trip so that I could go crazy on food and wine, and go to Walla Walla. Or Brunello if I was balling.

Super line-up G-Man. I sell the Petit Vedrines, and its a great entry into the market for those that have never had a Sauternes.

QOTD:I go tour and taste the private cellars of Madame Bize-Leroy. Come on yah can’t beat that, right.

Great, great show today (Happy bday to Lizzie!).

QTOD: I want to say Bordeaux, but I am going to switch things up and say Jerez. I think the wine geek in me would love to see the solera systems, etc.

Aw, I feel so left out watching stuff like this from the other side of the pond! Move the whole show to Dublin, Gary! haha
I wanna get the secret packs! (And everything else!)
That Rioja sounds intriguing! Hope I can get that somewhere in Ireland.

QOTD- predictable little me… can’t help it, it’s gotta be Bordeaux!
Well what would you expect from someone not even legally supposed to drink wine! haha
Still- learning more every day thanks to WLTV!
    ; )

    Great show

Great show and great wines… I will have to sit down with my wife tonight and place an order using a little book deal assistance!

Also looking forward to having you stop in Des Moines, IA for the book signing tour. Episode comments for show #458 showed some interest and I am also getting some solid feedback from my blog post.

QOTD: Can I just say, I am new to wine and everyday I learn something new and exciting so I’m going to look to others for guidance? Well that is my answer!

    Happy Birthday GV’s lady!

    The Wine Library!

I live in Japan so that ain’t no small beans… free ticket, GV?

QOTD: Wow, having to pick just one is torture. Maybe it’s because you have exposed me to the unbelievable wines of Southwest France I’d have to pick that area. Not that Avignon, Provence, Cote du Ventoux and Bandol would be a hard place to have to ’settle for’ :)

  22. May 6, 2008

    DaveyDonut

That Rioja sounds great! I should have ordered the secret pack…

Have you called Powell’s yet to see if they could accommodate a book signing? Don’t you have people that set these things up for you? :-)

QOTD: The Veneto. I want to watch them make my Amarone! But friends that have been say the countryside isn’t that pretty, so maybe that’s a bad one…
