I fell back into lurker mode for awhile, but today´s show was so much fun I just had to comment…

QOTD: not quite sure if I can pick an ultimate wine trip (don´t make me think so hard on my lunch break!), but I was in Montsant and Priorat last weekend and it completely blew me away. I can´t wait to go back.

Wow, I give that episode 90 points (seems to be a theme).
QOTD: Spain, because it does the blend of old and new worlds that you mentioned. And I’ld like to be surprised by the occasional “G’day Mate” from the Aussie winemakers who are beginning to populate the region.

You cracked me up with the scratch and sniff witch reference…what memories. I wonder if that’s what they really smell like?
QOTD: I’d be all over the base of the Andes mountains for some great chilean wine, and some spectacular jungle hikes.
